What exactly determines PCI size?

You know how worse hitters have a tiny PCI and good hitters have a huge one? Well that makes sense but it is also dynamic. Does it get bigger if you get 3 hits within 5 at bats with 1 particular player for example? How does it work? It seems like it is similar to the timing bar size in the pitcher meter.

I believe the inner PCI is determined by the hitter's contact rating and the pitchers H/9 rating. The outer PCI is determined by a hitter's vision rating and the pitchers K/9 rating. Clutch might play a factor as well I am not certain

The only changes in game that I know of are based on pitchers stamina (both PCI's will get larger as a pitcher loses stamina). I dont think in game performance changes it

What about hot & cold streaks? I play with the PCI off so I haven’t seen it with my own eyes in a decade but it seems like the PCI is bigger/smaller when guys have the fireball/snowflake.

I'm strictly a direction guy but I wished visually I could get a brief sneak preview of what my batters pci size would be if I were using something other than directional. but only before the first pitch of each AB. after that first pitch I'd prefer as clean a screen as possible

I was thinking more along the lines PCI had something related to do with Insane Clown Posse
