Jaggy Gateway Arch in St. Louis in MLB the Show

First want to say my positives far outweigh my critiques of the MLB the Show 22 and this franchise. Love the game and appreciate all the work the SDS team does to deliver a great game year-in, year-out in my opinion. It is a visually beautiful game.

There is, however, one flaw that bothers me and has appeared year after year and that's the "jagged" top of the Gateway Arch while playing in Busch Stadium in St. Louis. It's very noticeable because the rest of surroundings/visuals are beautiful while there's the jagged arch that could use some TLC from a visual standpoint.

Again, love this game. Wish SDS would smooth out the top of the Gateway Arch to match the rest of the beautiful visuals.

    Agree. It’s noticeably awful looking.

They never get Dodger Stadium quite right which has always bugged me but I have just looked past it for 15 years. This year they made the two center field flag poles way too close together. So close in fact that one of the two flags can clip the other which looks bad.

It's funny because Busch Stadium is visually ones of the nicest ballparks in the major leagues and it feels like of all the ballparks they spend less time on it is Busch.

Every year in the Stadium Accuracy thread I list Ballpark Village and the two large neon-lit Cardinals atop the scoreboard as items to fix.

Visually, the 'Cola' sign at Busch (visible in your screenshot) is what drives me nuts. The blank bottles (no green neon outlining) and the unlit 'Cola' text and outline of the sign itself just brings me to the point I can't even play night games there. And I'm saying this as a Seattle Mariners fan.

All that being said, MLB The Show 22 (and previous versions) are visually stunning at times and I fully admit to being a spoiled The Show brat going back 12 years (bought a PS3 just to play MLB The Show and it was a great decision). This Dev team is awesome and they continue to do great work (just wish they'd spend one full dev cycle visually enhancing all of the ballparks in the game...aka lighting up signs and backgrounds).

All of the stadium exteriors could use major upgrades. If they ended up making upgrades just to next gen, that would be reasonable. The minor league parks especially often have objects that are little more than basic polygons.

The Show is the only sports game I really pick on about stuff like this because it's the only game that's actually not far off from being pretty much perfect (at least that I have experience with. Golf Club/2K Golf is also really good). EA sports games, I wouldn't even bother critiquing due to how far off they are in terms of offline gameplay.
