Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere, but I couldn’t find anything. I just download the trial version through ps plus and started a rtts. It seems like a disproportionate number of other players have blue soles on their cleats. And if I set mine to black or team color (which for Eire is black) it looks fine in the appearance editor, but when I go into a game the soles of the cleats are blue. I set the color to red and kind of got them to be red, but it was more like purple, because it was like the red was just put over the blue. I tried this with 3 different cleats and ran into the same problem. Is this a known issue? Has anyone else experienced this? Am I crazy?

Blue Soles
You’re not crazy but it has nothing to do with the cleats themselves, it’s just a bug. Comes and goes, usually doesn’t last for more than a game. I’ve seen it in maybe 3-5% of my games.
Usually it’s the dirt that’s some color it shouldn’t be, that’s more common. The one you’re describing where it’s the entire sole is pretty rare, I’ve seen that maybe 3 or 4 times in ~250 games.Last edited by Detroit Tigers; 07-31-2022, 10:12 PM.Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this. -

Re: Blue Soles
So it seems like some colors are better than others. White looks pretty good. Black looks really bad. But it seems to be just the first game of the series, unless I go back to the club house. If I choose to just advance to the next game from the end game menu things look completely normal. Weird.
Unrelated: I also noticed the blue Rawlings patches that I’ve seen others on here mention, if that’s intentional, that’s a head scratcher of a decision.Comment
