There are a bunch of things added for outside the stadium however…..being as there is no flyover of the stadium in the game these things are sort of a waste of time. I have seen guys do wonderful detailed work outside the stadium but you never, ever see it during the game.

Stadium Building is an art tbh..so when we create it we know that you won't see that much? but the fact that you know it's there adds the immersion.

Looking forward to the day we can open the horizons of creativity with a text to Speech Synthesizer for player and team names.
Plus Open the vault to created advertisements for fences/walls..patches on sleeves.
Would love to see the Braves sleeve patch as the announcer introduces the teams full two part name
Like The Brooklyn Dodgers or The Milwaukee Braves or the Cleveland Indians.
After all it's our game let us use it.

I brought Jose Siri in as a defensive replacement today and, instead of an Astros banner announcing his entrance to the game, a blank Orioles banner (no text) popped up.

Has anyone else seen this in your franchise for recently traded players (in real life) or is it unrelated to his being traded?

You can honestly probably forget carry over saves for the foreseeable future.

Probably but I do think they could have patched the expanded playoffs into mlbts22. If they gave an option whether or not to use it and give people the opportunity to start a franchise over. I suspect they could also have programmed it to begin during the next off season of an existing franchise.

People will buy the game next year to get that feature.

Do you realize how much work would go into a patch that has the option to either use the old playoff format or the new one?

Do you remember when they patched a schedule glitch a few seasons ago and it corrupted existing franchise save files?

100% agree. No matter how well they quality test it; the possibility of people losing 100s of hours invested into a franchise is not worth the risk.

Pinch running appears broken for me. When I try to put one in (since the update) the PR does not enter the game. I tried 3 times between innings 9 and 11 of my last game and it was never successful.

EDIT: To clarify, these were all times when the manager suggested a pinch runner.

Just had this issue in a spring training game. Not suggested by the manager. Very annoying. I’m almost positive I’ve pinch run since the patch so I don’t think it’s all of the time, but hopefully they get this fixed. I’m playing with the cardinals. Pujols and Molina are going to need some pinch runners!

Its an issue/bug that's been in the game for a few years now. It happens whether the manager suggests or not. Not sure the root cause, and I've reported it each year, but thus far no resolution has been found.
