the White Sox had to have narrowly edged out Baltimore.
if the O's hadn't dumped Mancini & closer Lopez at the deadline,
maybe that would have been enough merit in Baltimore to bump the ChiSox.
in any event, at least I still have Mancini & Lopez in my Baltiverse.
but I'll definitely miss having them in Show 23
especially Mancini


also, no way in hell am I going to play with Philly,
but the M's are always on my radar every year when I get around to my secondary teams,
trying to chase that elusive first pennant.
I have my own little personal Show race between Baltimore & Seattle every year:
which will I achieve first, a pennant with Seattle or division championship with Baltimore
(never done either. YET)

Haven’t bought the show since ‘19 (a friend bought be ‘20-so that is the last version I have)…but I guess If I had the game and thought it was playable again…I’d do Seattle because the pitching is so interesting, IMO…and I feel I could add some pieces in small trades and even get someone on the market (Joe Smith) to put it where I want it, plus the minors has just a few guys who could start to develop a new core as I draft other pieces and maybe get some trades for prospects as the seasons progress. Plus I’ve always loved the unis and want to incorporate some games at Sicks stadium and the Kingdome throughout the schedules!
