    DFA/Releasing playoff eligible players

Why does The Show still have the seemingly made up rule that after September First you can't DFA or Release playoff eligible players? It kind of limits your options if you want to do a September call up for a player not on the 40 man.

Because the developers are clueless on some of the realism that the game needs. they are soooo focused on worthless packs and online junk each year that they miss some key franchise details every season. This issue has been there for years with crickets to why.

t I think there is no in game mechanic to differentiate between players on the 40 man who are eligible for the post season on September 1 and players who are not, so it just locks the 40 man unless you have an injury.

I know teams IRL are still DFA players

This cannot be a hard fix to do. You cant release anyone, trade anyone or even remove them from the 40 man roster.. Just a stupid concept & whomever is the developer over rosters needs to do their homework on roster mechanics.

Players on the 40 man roster or who have been on the 40 man roster cannot be traded after the trade deadline

I assumed it was something like this. Honestly, if it's a code thing I'd rather just have them take that part out and have every player be playoff eligible and still be able to DFA and release players. If it's going to be unrealistic to the real rules, I'd rather it just not be there.

I'm about to enter September in my season where I try to keep all of the rosters updated IRL. Can you still not do it in this year's game?

I released a couple of players off the A-level roster and 40-man on each team in the last week of August this time, so I can minimize the problems I had last year. But I'm sure this wasn't removed and I'll get roadblocked somewhere.

              Thanks!
