I would absolutely love to see a mode like NBA 2k's MyERA added to the game. If I could start a franchise in a specific era of baseball and each era played somewhat "life like", I would be hooked on the game throughout the year. Until then, I still have MLB 20 classic rosters and sliders to hold me over with the occasional modern day fun with MLB 22.

I agree 100% with you. I'd just like to add when I want a different flavor of baseball I play my show 20 and show 22 COLLEGE rosters to make things interesting again.

I would love to see a 'one season' mode with the ability to set up the league to match older eras...

I will not be purchasing this game again until it has that option. For now, I will stick with Out of The Park and table top baseball games for my baseball fix...

My needs are simple.

BRING back Y2Y roster/franchises.

For all that is holy upgrade your names used in game. There is no reason that basic names ( last and first) are limited.

And lastly upgrade your player creater. Make it so you can upload a player pic from the internet and get a digitized players face to use in game. Or at least make more faces/heads to use. Make a player creater like nba2k or Madden does

I’m going to get it because it’s the only option to play baseball. But if it’s anything like the last two years, I’ll be done with it by May.

Simply put, the game needs to be “next-gen”. It’s more or less the exact game that I was playing on last-gen and that just isn’t cutting it. I’ve purchased the Show every year since 2006 and it’s gotten so underwhelming.

They desperately need to make a separate build for the PS5 this year. There's really no excuse for the PS4 and PS5 versions still being the same. I will buy regardless this year though just for the new playoff and scheduling format.

More Equipment and a new color pallet for equipment options would be great.

Fix that 40 man moves can’t be done for playoff teams.

Any slight upgrade to mechanics of graphics.

I’m largely in this camp. Come early spring, I’m so desperate for baseball that I’ll realistically pick up this game each year as my only sim option. That being said, the last 2-3 years I’ve shelved the game earlier and earlier. It’s hard to put my finger on what “it” needs to have to keep my interest but I can only describe part of that as needing to feel “next gen”. Feel like I’ve generally been playing the same game for too long.

I’ve also felt the same about the game the past couple years. While I feel the off-season has improved I still feel a disconnect in season at times. I feel like more has to be presented to me during the season. The radio show is just not enough.

Force 3 catching equipment and Bruce Bolt is a must this year. And for the love of everything holy, if they don’t have half the equipment in there at launch, and sporadically release it throughout the year like they did last year I’m going to be extremely p***ed.

It used to be an option in the show back when they would let you just play a season…but it’s just one of many things that have been removed over the years…y2y year saves/sots would be huge for a lot of players…me included…but it’s all about DD now which sucks for franchise players
