      Re: Hardest realistic rebuild

I am someone who only plays off line franchise and only does rebuilds. My favorite team is the Reds so I have been able to use them the last few years I have purchased The Show. I run a very realistic 30 team control franchise to the point that I have very rarely won the World Series. I think I have won 2 titles in my entire Show history once I started doing realistic 30 team control. Once was the A’s in year 8 and the other was Baltimore in year 9.
I usually start season 1 dealing any stars or worthy players for AA level talent (realistic deals, of course). Then, I try to get at least 2 future MLB players in the first 2 drafts. These trades and picks usually end up being my core by year 5 or so. The thing I struggle the most with is usually Free Agency. I just have a hard time buying a stud for long term. Perhaps I’m a gluten for punishment but I really enjoy the tearing down and building from scratch part of the rebuild. I enjoy having the worst team (or bottom 5) and trying to do it all my way.
So for next year, I’m going to start with the Reds again but I also hope to have an A’s one.
