    Getting bored.

I’m just about to finish up my 1st time ever playing all 162. But I’m at a point now we’re every game feels tedious. I’m using my favorite team the SF giants. We’re 101-59. I’m also using default AS+.
Maybe I should use a different team. Idk. Just feels like I’m getting burnt out

Sounds like you need a new challenge. A few options there. Try a new team or try a rebuild.

When I get bored (which usually means I'm winning more constantly) I change it up with a very weak team and build up or just dive into another mode, just to try something different.

End of the season, especially if you've clinched your division/playoff spot, can be a bit of a grind. You've only got two more games to go. If everything is wrapped up and you've got nothing to play for, give some of your bench players some playing time. Or use the two additional roster spots to give a prospect a look.

Playoffs should bring some excitement back. And next season you get a fresh coat of paint, so to speak, with some of the new players you acquired in the offseason.

          Re: Getting bored.

One of my biggest issues with The Show is it's the only sports game I play that over time, no matter how good the game is, it gets boring. It's a very repetitive game. The Show, I mean, not baseball. And what makes this worse is that every game takes an hour to complete even if you don't watch too many cut scenes. What I loved, and STILL love, about MVP 2005 is that games lasted on average 35-40 minutes and were still thoroughly enjoyable. A game that takes an hour to play is a hard sell throughout a season. It means you have to find 162 hours minimum or roughly 20 days worth of playing for 8 hours straight if you want to be involved in most games in a season. For years now, I've been playing the first game of a series, letting the CPU sim game 2, and if the series is tied, I play the third. If the CPU wins game 2 for me, I sim game 3 because the series is already won. Same if I lose game 1, if the CPU loses game 2, I consider the series lost and let the CPU sim game 3. It's also frequently the only way I'm ever going to get a decent season with some challenge because if you play every game, you're going to get to a point where you master the game and start winning effortlessly. And I don't feel switching modes is a good solution, if you're a season player like me, you shouldn't have to go play Arcade modes to keep the game interesting. Personal opinion.

play a season where you sim 108 games, and play only 54. this will take control from you and make it so that every game you play mean more. and by getting through a season quicker, less chance to get bored. if that season doesnt "feel" right, you can always go back to playing all 162

also, IMO the Giants are as good a team as anybody to use. but nothing wrong with going elsewhere.
as long as it aint LA lol

When I do franchise, I usually one game a series. I try to decide by matchup. Sometimes, it can be 2 games a series depending on the team (as the White Sox, I like to play all the games against the Cubs).

I think I'm going to try armors sliders. I just fell as+ default I generate offense easily and the CPU offense has no punch
