Did they put the deep dive schedule out for the season and I missed it? Tried looking on twitch for something all I found is some notes about franchise mode

Hell yeah, always crazy to me that baseball -- the sport with literally DEEPEST lore at least among US sports -- does such a bad job with telling it in their media in recent years. 2K hopefully opened people's eyes that this stuff is cool for games.

Really hoping these teams / uniforms are available outside of this mode. Would LOVE to fire up a Franchise, or even a Play Now game with them.

It would be so cool to be able to play with the Negro League teams and players in franchise, but I suspect that will not be included.

Wow! Reading this announcement literally gave me goose bumps. This mode, if done correctly, can serve as an educational tool as well as a great way to have fun. I suspect it will be done correctly as I’m sure Mr. Bob Kendirck and the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum wouldn’t put their names behind it if wasn’t.

Like many of you, I’m a baseball history nut. I’ve watched Ken Burns’ “Baseball” more times than I can count and easily the person who stands out the most for me is Buck O’Neil. I can’t imagine anyone loving baseball more than he did. I cannot wait to replay some of his great moments and hopefully learn a little something as well.

such a cool mode. the uniforms look fantastic too. hoping this means mlb uniforms finally got a much needed upgrade as well. also, feel like we'll see our first bit of gameplay on thursday

If I could start a RttS career with some of these players available in FA for MLB, take my money now...and I don't pre-order The Show anymore but for that, I would.

This is absolutely awesome, but is this all tied to DD, or is this a stand alone mode?

I hope it's not tied to DD, but I have a feeling it will be.

Some of the Negro League players far surpassed MLB players in skill and production during their time and have never gotten the proper recognition for it. This is great to see one way or the other. Even if it's tied to DD, I will still be playing it. But I do hope it's a stand-alone mode.

Please please please enable it in a mode with the pitch clock just so I can leg out an inside-the-park homerun before Josh Gibson's actual homerun clear the fences.

Welp, looks like I'm buying the game this year, again. And yeah, if this is part of RTTS - which would logically mean that something like a full-blown RTTS based on, say, the "Year of the Pitcher" (double digit shutouts in a season here I come) to the PED era where you can make the choice to juice and get booed, like in NHL when you put in a hard check except everywhere. If you put in an earnest historical aspect into the game beyond the very superficial and frequently unhelpful DD Moments, this can be an excellent leap for the franchise. That said, SDS, while less egregious than say, EA and the Madden debacles, are a complacent lot, and here's to wish but not counting on it being that revolutionary.

Hard to imagine the fresher “tucked in” jersey look only applies to this mode. I would be shocked if that wasn’t across the board. Could be wrong though.

This seems like it would be really awesome. Especially if they do it right. I just hope that this doesn’t hurt franchise indirectly. Like they take away resources that would/could have been used to to work on franchise. But but at least franchise improvements made the preview. Usually they only mention MTO.
