Not sure where to post this but it would be awesome if they expanded on the "Create a team" you can already do but instead of it replacing a current team, it was an expansion team. Of course, there would be a second expansion team to keep it even.

I really hope the draft is overhauled. Feel like the current scouting and how draft classes are formed isn't good or interesting personally. Most the players come in rated in the 40s and 50s are almost useless plus the players that are 25 after a few drafts

I am excited for the presentation overhaul. I felt that 2k baseball had a better presentation. It felt like I was really watching baseball and the show always seems to take me out of it. I hope they figure out the online too. Seem to struggle with it every year and cut out all the little things. I also hope that they work on the movement of the ball, and better physics. Next is they need to return franchise to online even if it’s just two people maximum. The fact that madden has custom rosters and settings and can do the draft is amazing. I know they had a lot of issues in this years version but they finally got it fixed. I would also love duo in the MTO mode, would be fun with a buddy to try and update teams and complete each year in the off-season.

Hopefully a revamped draft means a similar revamp of scouting as a whole

Well what they usually do latley is take 1section at a time between cycles and focus on that as far as anything related to chise. This edition will be about the draft i wouldnt expect much else related to chise tbh id assume they used the available resources on the storyline mode. i have played since 06 and this game has satisfied my baseball love every year but ive come to learn the things they advertise every year as selling points have become less and less and this year the negro leagues will be the big selling addition and most likely the same legacy issues will not be touched, just my opinion. Franchise & Commentary improvments" and having the proper rules and schedule really isnt anything to write home about it should be a given anyway regardless so having those items as a selling point doesnt seem all that great tbh. i realize they havnt said much of anything yet so they deserve the benefit of the doubt and they will do the streams and we shall see. Id be happy with them actually figuring out how the bullpen logic and stamina really needs to be becuase its been the same dissapointment for years now its terrible & any workarounds like becoming the other team to control the bullpen gets old so does the same injury system and only having replays at 1st. There has to be a way to implement a new Bullpen AI system.

Exactly. They can make all the prerelease statements in the world but until they actually fix the logic or add some new features it’s basically the same game for franchise. They haven’t earned any trust or benefit of the doubt because every year they either ignore the mode or promote “logic fixes” deserving a Pat on the back. That should be the minimum each year and not used as a promotion. They’ve ridden this gravy train of being the only baseball game for far too long.

I am right with you. I could care less about anything online and stubs and all the other bells and whistles. I dont even look at other things except offline control all teams franchise. I hate setting a new lineup every time you make real life transactions. Full control should mean full control in that area. I think it would be great if there was a a rainout you could reschedule that game at a later date too. It is prob complex but would love to see it. Simulation like Madden where you could choose the winner of a game too. All wishful thinking that I have mentioned for several years now. Bullpen AI is a huge mess

The Bullpen logic needs to be addressed.

Long relievers are used too often and for too long. Setup/closers are used too sparingly.

                  Stamina needs to be addressed.

Having your starting lineup be gassed after playing 5 games is really bad. There needs to be a difference between durability and stamina. Durability can control injury probability and stamina affects a player’s ability to play X consecutive games without being tired.

At this point I am still on the side of not buying this year. I am curious to see what they have to offer in the draft update but I don't know if it will be enough to convince me. Honestly if it is anything like the convoluted new scouting in Madden, I will be fully out.

I used to preorder immediately and wait and see what followed information wise, but not anymore. They have to give me enough to convince me to buy the game. Last year it was barely enough with the logic updates, but honestly there were still a lot of flaws in it.

So what if we are impressed by visual updates? No need to crap on what other people like. If you don't like the game then don't buy it. It's pretty simple really.

there just really is no consensus what the most important issue is.
me, I'm not in need of visual upgrade from the Show,
but neither is better AI my biggest want.
however the other teams run their club,
                            Ijust roll with it.
but if Sony wanted to impress me,
they'd do everything they could to make absolutely everything possible to make everything customisable, right down to even editing the amount of MiLB options, and also renaming umps.
and then they'd bring back y2y saves.
we dont want much, just everything lol

Well said. Individual wants are okay. I want the CAP faces updated, but at the end of the day, there is so much goodness in this game my ‘want’ pales in comparison to what SDS has given us. They have given us, IMHO, a baseball treasure. Don’t want to see a headline that one day SDS in La Jolla has closed shop.

Everyone can value what they value the most in a game. That's their right. And it's not fair to slam others based on what they like. Freedom of choice.

In the end, I think everyone wants a better and improved game each year. But it is up to each individual to determine if it is better or not.

                                It's simple. Chase fun.

                                That is different for everyone.
