This Ian Kinsler model looks worse than an NBA 2K player model on PS4 and in no way makes me want to buy the game or play with this player. Is that on topic enough?

I think what he means is there is one thread that discusses graphic upgrades in '23, and another one that discusses what you need to see from '23 to make you want to buy it or not.

Kinsler isnt all that far removed from the last time he was in the game (18 or 19?)
but the former Texas Ranger I want to play in the Show is Rusty Greer

year represented?

Yeah I was caught off guard that it was Kinsler given that it seems he was just in the game ('19 was last year he played), but then again that was 4 years ago. Time flies. LOL

No year mentioned, but I don't think they ever talk specific years when they promote new legends? Obviously he'll get a couple different DD cards, but I know that's not what you're asking.

yeah, they always have the legends full stats total but the age isnt usually the last year they played (normal is 20s or early 30, but not always) and the age matches the Topps baseball card they use for their picture

I figure the Studio will use his 2011 card, I just think that because that was Kinsler best year WAR wise

Clearly, the negro league mode is fabulous and way overdue but the graphical quality of this game is disappointing every year. They have no intention of making this game worthy of being called “Next-gen”. Between the horrible player models, limited animations, poor uniforms textures, low FPS and almost no new equipment options they have officially claimed themselves as the 2nd worst sports sim gaming company.

Thy is what I’m afraid is happening to franchise. They used a lot of resources to create the Negro league storylines. And franchise is still on the bottom of their priority list. The last couple of years, MTO was getting the attention over franchise. Looks like now that got pushed down the list.



I hope I’m wrong.

Last year they stated the current franchise mode limits their ability to add to it. So instead of creating a new franchise mode for Next gen consoles, they choose to just leave as is and create a half assed franchise mode in MTO. MTO has zero appeal for anyone that wants the whole franchise experience but once again, franchise gets zero new features. The defensive shift rule changes, pitch clock and bigger bases are what they promote as “new”. They use rule changes by MLB as an opportunity to promote them as exciting upgrades to franchise mode. I’ll be actually shocked if they add all the new rule changes though.
Franchise has now become a mode where Ai logic fixes are the only changes they make. They won’t upgrade or add sliders, or add all the equipment available in DD and RTTS. It’s disappointing every year.

Kinsler is on the Mt. Olympus of the 30-30 club, one of the first 12 players all-time to have multiple 30 homers 30 steals seasons.

After seeing the cloth textures and physics in storylines, I held hope for updates to hair texture. Sadly it looks the same as it always has.

so I was just playing around a little with Show 19 earlier and I noticed Kinsler was also in as a Legend in 19,
and the Studio used his age as 26 and his 2008 Topps card to go along with it
