Awesome that we're getting the gameplay premiere tomorrow! The Show is the game I get excited for every single year! The changes they make from year to year, however big or small, make the game enjoyable for me[emoji3526]

Looking forward to it! Really hoping for some true improvements this year. I feel like at this point developers need to start focusing on new gen consoles to really be able to make a meaningful leap.

I'm a giant nerd. Gameplay feature premium/developer deep dives are my favorite! I love when they dive into the details of what specifically prompted the changes/improvements, how those improvements are implemented, and then shows the comparisons between the previous game and the upcoming game.

SDS, keep up the technical breakdowns! I know some people really roll their eyes about all the details and want everything simplified, but not me! 😁🧐

Very excited for this gameplay premiere! No doubt SDS will also bring out some changes or improvements that they'll want us to experience and comment on during the tech test. I'll be notating my thoughts and findings and reporting them back to SDS like every year.

I will have to watch this later at night on replay. Going to be impossible at 5 pm to watch this on V Day without risking my wife throwing out my ps5 while I am sleeping. She is a very understanding woman when it comes to my gaming but today is not one of those days.

Last years MLB The Show 22 gameplay deep dive kind of sucked!

It was all pre recorded and not as good as in years past.

I don't think the pre-recording aspect is going to change - SDS has moved away from the "live" model (my guess is that it may be a corporate directive from Sony though I have no evidence for this).

I would like to see them be highly in-depth though in terms of the information provided (specifically provide detailed rationale and under-the-hood mechanics for any changes).

I understand why they've gone pre-recorded. It's easier to deal with something in case something goes wrong live, or technical issues, etc....But if it is pre-recorded, then they don't have to deal with those kinds of things.

So what are you guys hoping for?
Fielding has gotten so much better over the years but still not challenging enough if you ask me. With button accuracy I can make every play with my eyes closed because the sweet spot is so wide in the meter. Never understood why you can’t change the difficulty for fielding alone like you could a few years back..
