What are the main couple attributes you look for?

I've usually had success with high K/9 and H/9 ratings for pitchers even if they have poor control and basically nothing else.

For hitters I just look for whats out there available. Maybe it's a guy with great contact attributes only that can provide some offensive punch as a DH. Or someone that has great speed that I can see if I can use him somewhere in the lineup. I'm usually running with a team with a small budget so finding these types of players for cheap is a bonus where I can spend the real money somewhere else.

Well, Since i have completely fallen in love with my most current drafted team i will do whatever it takes to make this them available to me at launch. What team i will use is still up in the air.

The short list

Oakland
Pittsburgh
Arizona
Miami

Change Oakland to KC and those are the 4 that I am debating along with Cincinnati. I generally do the Blue Jays every other year, but I did Jays and Padres two years ago and just Blue Jays last year.

I did a Reds franchise several years ago and I have done the Diamondbacks before as well. I was leaning D'Backs, but I have played so many games with Moreno and Guerriel that it won't seem as fresh. I am now leaning Royals...decisions, decisions.

Now I'm not sure. I always use the Padres and now that its confirmed Tatis is NOT in the game I may try a test with someone else. I can't start one w/o him. I'll probably try (Maybe) but then i'd just restart it all over once he's added in.

I always do a franchise with my favorite team, the Red Sox. I think I’m going to go with the Marlins this year, and do my RTTS with the Sox.

I feel like I have a mental defect. I am a huge Mets fans I have played with crappy mets team after crappy mets team and finally now we have good roster. I start a franchise with them and I just can not get into using them. Its like I have expectations for them and the way the franchise should be run so its hard for me to put my own mold into it. Have no idea what to do. How can someone not want to play with their favorite team?

this is one of the reasons I added the Orioles to my playing mix (in addition to my always and forever IRL Atlanta team) better than 10 years ago. I put my stamp on Baltimore and as for the Braves, I try to keep (for the most part) try to keep my carbon footprint to a minimum there

this is one of the reasons I added the Orioles to my playing mix (in addition to my always and forever IRL Atlanta team) better than 10 years ago. I put my stamp on Baltimore and as for the Braves, I try to keep (for the most part) try to keep my carbon footprint to a minimum there

playing one season within franchise with Baltimore, but not multiple seasons, no.
the biggest thing I'm doing right away to put my prints on the O's is move lefty starters Means & Irvin, and instead of playing with Adam Frazier as starting 2B, change Jorge Mateo's primary from SS to 2B, make him the starter. then gotta find a couple starting pitchers to replace Means & Irvin.

I stopped my true multiple seasons franchise with the death of y2y carry-overs in Show 20 with my longtime (since 2014) Braves franchise.
but now that the scheduling is better in franchise than previously, I can maybe see getting 3 seasons with Atlanta in 23. MAYBE. I'll see how it goes

I gotta see if I can push through with the Mets and enjoy it or start one with a mid expectations franchise. We will see

Giants 83-93 uniforms will be my first team than I'll use Kansas City next go round. KC's Sunday Powder Blue pants made it in and I'll use the Powder Blue Tops/Pants as the Away uniform since they're so close to the 1985 set.

I won’thave the game until tomorrow at midnight but im still on the fence. Ive got a choice in the AL down to the Tigers, but if I go NL my choices are between Rockies, Marlins, Reds or Pirates.
