Saw this today and though it was cool. Players are getting face scanned. I guess it's pretty common event during ST.

So we got Cutch, Liover Peguero, and Canaan Smith-Njigba at the least. I hope we'll get some Jack Suwinski and Cal Mitchell faceage as well.

The jersey’s are just too perfectly fitting in The Show. The last years lots of players have way bigger jerseys. This in combination with buttons loose or chains over their jerseys was the least I expected on the PS5…

I wonder if they can update the scans through patches.
I'm sure the game has to be close to going "gold", 24 days until it hits hands

Pretty sure the scans they do now can/are used in same year's game.

Pretty sure the scans they do now can/are used in same year's game.

Maybe a few triple a prospects for an upcoming update after they get called up but the majority is definitely always for next year. I mean the game will have gone gold by now.

They can update face scans through roster updates.

They did it before with Andrew McCutchen and last year ('22) with Harrison Bader.

And Seiya Suzuki... If they didnt scan him at ST 22 they would have needed to go to Japan and to do it.

As someone who plays as the Braves, I’m hoping Vaughn Grissom and Michael Harris II face scans make the final game. I was disappointed to see they didn’t in the tech test.
