No it's functionally the same as 21 but with more props and night games. I'm really hoping they've made improvements to things like team branding, wall markers and ads, editable foul territory, out-of-play bullpens, etc. But their silence on the mode for this marketing cycle doesn't seem promising.

Not to mention the DD stream appeared to show two new created ballparks (possibly templates) that were 99% the same as what 22 allowed.

Year 3 of stadium creator and all I literally want from this now is the damn yellow stripe above the outfield walls (at a minimum). Instantly adds immersion that is otherwise missing, and seemingly simple.

There are of course many other ideas including various netting, bullpen options, more deck color options (not just green, video board, or gray), more field pattern options, more legitimate objects found in actual stadiums (not dinosaurs and aliens), etc etc.


Here’s hoping anyways, but for now — just a yellow stripe on the walls. That’s not too much to ask, right? ��

SDS should invite the 3 top stadium creators and have a chat about what to improve and what is possible and what not…kinda like the community days back in the day. Those really improved the authenticity of this game.

Last year those of us who recreate real stadiums were lucky enough that they listened to us and added lots of props we needed for smaller parks with the August update.

I’m not sure who qualifies for the “top 3” though. If you look at the most downloaded parks from 22 they are all fantasy stuff like Hogwarts. Those creators and that audience is looking for different things than people like me are.

Ebbets Field Scoreboard should be a part of the fence and on ground level.
Impossible in 21 and 22. We had to drop a section of the fence and set the scoreboard back until the attached light was beyond the playing field.
Ebbets scoreboard should be a part of the fence and in play.

On one hand, I’d love the ability to create arenas in the NHL series…on the other hand, the features that make the old arenas so iconic - like the seats in the Montreal Forum or the walls in Maple Leaf Gardens - are pretty niche and hard to duplicate. I’d at least settle for customizable ice surfaces or boards, but I’m not holding my breath.

A stadium creator in FIFA would be absolutely amazing and my mind is boggling with the possibilities

The create-a-team feature on the NHL series is incredible!! The amount of detail there is epic.

I am hoping they give us some info on improvements for 23 but the lack of any info on it makes me fear it will remain untouched. It is still solid as it is but we need to it updated some. Moving bullpens is needed. Moving foul polls is another missing but wanted feature. Domes creations is still wanted and requested. Yellow lines on the wall and maybe even ground rules for our creation.

Maybe we'll get some of that this year but I don't get a good feeling that much has been done to it. Still, a great feature in the game but I hope they don't ignore it and keep adding to it.
