I'm honestly not that big of a fan of Boog and Singleton. I thought maybe they'd grow on me, but they really haven't. Boog is ok occasionally. Singleton I could completely do without.

As long as there’s a 2 man booth I think we will always get story telling and absolute repetitive banter….”you think you could draw a walk?”….unfortunately.
      I like Boog tho.

Yeah, I recall that being fantastic.

2023, I had the color-guy say the same line for my RTTS hitter twice a game for dozens of games in a row.

They didn't get rid of him. He became too expensive IIRC. He's well paid for his main work and didn't need this money.

Thanks for the info. I suspected as much.
15 years worth of audio lines gone.

Too bad they can't just use his lines for the basic stuff and then use Boog for the present day lines.

They need to put a Vasgergian mannequin in the booth and just play his old lines. But of course they can't.

I mean, people wear huge coats and earmuffs in Toronto on the 4th of July. I don’t think knowledge of weather is SDS strong suit.

I think that's because they don't have weather in San Diego

To answer this (Since I don't think I saw anybody else), when you turned on a one man booth, those types of conversations just wouldn't happen. It was done really well, those types of lines would be completely removed and you'd just have insight from whatever commentators you turned on. Once you turned on the second and third man, those types of conversations returned. It was one of the best parts about that feature

It has become very repetitive and I have around 40 full games played.

It definitely is a step up from last year, and some of it is interesting to hear, but as per usual I am JUST about to the spot where I turn off commentary and just play the game with all the sounds. I did it pretty quickly last year as well.
