You never know. But you wonder if it is Wrigley Field, Fenway, and maybe Yankees Stadium. Imagine the Trop wouldn’t be in.

Even if they just did the opening screen of a game to be a shot of the outside of the stadium. Wouldn’t even necessarily have to be a live shot.

Man, they really know how to find the things I'm actually excited for and still kill the hype. I'll be honest, if I don't see those big dumb hats in front of Angel Stadium I'll be pretty disappointed.

Great to see exterior shots, but seriously that Wrigley image looks like ps3 quality.. love the idea of new stuff but man the execution graphically is just not impressive IMO

Right, why wouldnt they wait to do this until they at least have all 30 MLB stadiums?? Fans of some teams will definitely be disappointed.

My guesses on the "select stadiums" with the first two already being confirmed.

1. Wrigley Field
2. Fenway Park
3. Yankee Stadium
4. Citi Field
5. Dodger Stadium
6. Petco Park (SSDS is located there. No brainer)
7. Oracle Park
9. Comerica Park
10. Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
11. Busch Stadium
12. Minute Maid Park
13. Citizens Ban Park
14. Target Field

The first 10 or 12 I'm more confident in but we'll see. I figure they'll put the World Series teams in and I kept it Half and half between American and National League. They might not do that.

I agree that some folks will be disappointed.

But...I think using it for select stadiums makes it more interesting from a presentation perspective; helping to highlight some cool parks vs those that are just meh. I think doing it for every team would make each broadcast feel a bit too "samey" (i.e. too much of a "templated" feel).

Even with the ones that will be in the game, I'm hoping they are tied to a particular theme and also hoping they aren't shown in every pregame (same with the flyovers)

I don't want to play a 3 game series against the Cubs and see the exterior shot in all 3 games.

The exteriors they showed don't look that great anyway. They should just use video footage like I've seen in some other game (NHL maybe?).

PNC Park isn't that special looking from the outside, it's inside that gives you that breathtaking view. They could show it from the Clemente Bridge though, that might be cool.

I don't want to play a 3 game series against the Cubs and see the exterior shot in all 3 games.

Hopefully they have more than 1 exterior shot of each stadium. That would help.

I paused on that shot of Wrigley after seeing your comment...and yeah, it is incredibly dated in terms of resolution and texture work. The snapshot on Fenway looks a bit better though. I guess we'll see, especially once we can see it all in motion...

I wouldn't want a flyover on a Wednesday afternoon in mid June either. Hopefully those are only for opening day and the world series. Also maybe the 4th of July.

Something else I noticed in the video. When Jazz was in this white uniform, he had white arm sleeves and white gloves. In his black jersey, he had black arm sleeves and purple gloves. I'm wondering if we get different equipment sets for different uniforms this year? Could just be different builds too, but it was something I spotted.

What jumped out to me about the exterior shots was that it looked like the rapture had taken place. If you’ve ever been to wrigley on game day you know it’s poppin’ outside the stadium. In the clip they showed there isn’t a person in sight. With that being said it’s still cool to see the outside of some of the stadiums, but if wrigley has new exterior shots and the skyline in St. Louis isn’t updated, I’m going to be very disappointed.
