    Everything looked good

Only thing I laughed at was the updated trade logic. When they were simulating I saw the Brewers traded Brice Turang which would never happen

But other then that good stuff though they dragged out the draft talk forever. I almost fell asleep

Let's face it. 98% of the stream was them playing through the scouting of players and a draft. It was basically a tutorial. Nothing about bullpen or lineup logic and graphics that still seem last Gen quality.

I'll admit the scouting and draft were implemented well, but clearly that's all they did to franchise.

quick note of small things i noticed

        - the red dox new right field fan section made it in, although looks like they lost the rights to the john hancock ad.
        - new philles scoreboard is in.
        - franchise ticker when showing standings is now logos instead of text, cannot tell if they fixed the bug with the standings spoiling other games results
        - seems like only the dimension changes of the new rogers centre got in + new scoreboard. kinda odd.

If I was SDS, I don't think I'd do pitch framing either. Because A) that's something that wouldn't apply to your most popular mode, because it uses "perfect" strike zone, and the larger community would freak out if there were bad calls in DD.

And B) could very well be out of real baseball in the next couple years if there are robo umps. Robo umps are already being used in Triple A this season, in half the parks as a challenge system, and then calling all balls and strikes in the other league.

Pitch Framing could very well be a thing of the past irl very soon, so implementing that as a mechanic in the game would likely be a poor use of resources.

Draft looks amazing! Didn't illicitly hear them mention anything about lineup/ bullpen logic.

Mills said they mentioned lineup logic.

Well….problem with the forums right here. The subjective cries of fanboy/cry babies.

Every gamer has their own wishlist. If it’s done objectively, let it go or at least point out who you’re talking about. One gamer pointed out that the bullpen logic was not brought up……good point. Crybaby? No. Something he was looking forward to hearing and it hasn’t been addressed.

Bottom line we don’t know what has just been not addressed, might be all good come release date. As long as you don’t call their team lazy, etc., etc…it’s constructive…it’s all good.

Trolls can come in all forms.

I have some concerns about the scouting/drafting update:

                        - Especially in the first round, it is rare and considered misguided for teams to be drafting for need. They take the best player available and/or one they can sign at slot. Picking players based on organizational need was highlighted and that seems off to me.

In 2022, the Orioles used the No. 1 overall pick on SS Jackson Holliday when they already had Gunnar Henderson, maybe the best prospect in the game and a SS.

                        - Because of slotting, top picks almost always sign unless there is an injury concern (Brady Aiken with the Astros, Kumar Rocker with the Mets) or someone absolutely doesn’t wanna go where he was picked and knows he’ll do better the next year (Mark Appel to Pittsburgh). The interest meter feels like a waste of programming and unrealistic. I wonder if there’s compensation if you don’t sign a first-rounder. There is in real life, and I believe the Astros used the Aiken compensation on Alex Bregman. Not a small thing.

I do admire the effort they put in, and might not skip scouting like I have in the past. I just wish they spoke more about other franchise mode changes/improvements if there are any.

Draft stuff seems cool although I'll never touch it. No mention of custom rosters in MTO so that's yet another reason for me to not buy at launch. Presentation stuff is cool I guess but nothing particularly impressed me. Until the actual game graphics improve it's kinda just like putting a nice bow on a turd. Those exterior shots are rough, man.

Honestly excited for these changes this year.

I will say I saw way too many turtlenecks for my liking on the CAPs lol

I think scouting/prospects/drafting looks pretty amazing this year. Wish I didn't see so many RP/CP ranked in top 30 but overall I think its way better. That being said, wish there was more to the franchise stream then 90% scout/draft.

Got a chance to read through all the comments and MY LORD> Slow down people. Some of you seem so upset you would think someone shot your dog or stole your car. Relax

The presentation was amazing. Huge steps foward. I am not sure why people are crying about player models. The models look fine. What do you want to see snot fall out of the players nose or something? The graphics are fine. Am I the only one who loved to play baseball stars on nintendo? We get spolied by graphcis and now we can't survive? I mean geez . They even added regional networks. They did a lot this year to help with the presentation for a lot of us franchise players

The trade logic? Well it has to be seen. But they made a point and its a good one. Trades are subjective. Nobody is every happy with a trade. Did you see the Mets this past year trade JD Davis and a couple prospects for Darin Ruf? Terrible trade. But it happens. Unless you see the Yankees trade Aaron Judge for Tomas Nido in the game I would not worry

As for the draft. Yes it ran long in the tooth no doubt. Even I started to doze. But its better then just drafting someone , hitting a button having them sign and its over. The draft now has meaning to it. More then ever before

Ok so we did not get things like editing managers, online franchise. Alright well life will still go on.

All the CBA changes are in even to salary. And as they said editing code is a big job if it means going back and changing code.

All and all I think they did a great job. They keep adding to the game. Adding takes money and resources and I am excited to get my hands on this years game
