Controller Question MLB The Show

Hello,

Does anyone know if I were to purchase a controller for the PS5 where you can map the buttons. Would I be able to have a custom button map that would work with MLB The Show.

I am trying to map the dive button back to R2 trigger like it was originally when playing player lock. Thought I would ask before investing into a controller that you can map buttons too.

I believe the Dualsense Edge controller can do that. You can make a custom profile and designate buttons to your liking.

Yea isn’t that the 200 dollar one lol. I just want a PS5 controller that doesn’t get stick drift in a month

You could using the regular Dualsense remap buttons through the accessibility settings on the console. You’d have to remember to disable the settings when playing other games as it isn’t as easy as swapping profiles on the Dualsense Edge.

I wonder how hard it is to put the controller back together if you take it apart yourself and clean the inside.
I have like 6 or 7 PS4 controllers and the all have drift.
gotta quit eating grilled cheese sammiches while I play lol

It’s not hard at all, just follow a YouTube guide. I took apart several ps4 controllers, although my success in fixing that issue was mixed.
