MLB THE SHOW 23 Minor League real players

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this for this year… are the in?, real players all around? Or do we need to wait on Ridin Rosters? And if that is also gonna happen this year as well??…

Real players will be in day 1. No fake guys. Your choice if you want to wait around for Full Minors or not.

Should be like last year and hopefully more vets that go missing because we’re not on a 40 man last year. Conforto confirmed but tatis jr(suspended) not confirmed yet that will be the big one if people want to wait a month for roster updates. They remove suspended players now and removed too last year, so one had me worried day 1 the most.

Tatis is confirmed for DD (at least he has a diamond card). Jury still out for franchise rosters. But Laureano was in day 1 last year and was suspended to start the year.

Well that is what happened last year though, was still in DD but was removed from franchise.

They had all real players in last year. I am sure it will be the same this year. Obviously guys like Senga won't be in right away and I am sure Tatis won't be in until his suspension is up so there will still be guys to create and faces that need fixed I am sure, Business as usual.

Yoshida and Senga yep those 2 will have to be created. it isn't so bad having a pitcher as a created player but hearing 'number 7 comes up to bat' every time for Yoshida will drive me crazy. we had that with Kwan all last year.

Nothing can be done until they expand the commentary database with more names. We know we are getting more this year, but it's a year to year process obviously.

unfortunately though it seems that 90% of the time where it needs to be a created player the name isn't in the database unless it is a Smith or Jones common name. that is the frustrating part here.

Cano wasn't there last year Tatis won't be there this year for audio. all because the audio database from the face scanned players is different to the CAP database I wish they just had them all together so we can pick the face scanned players audio in the CAP database

I’m like you ShowTyme…..with the faces…..the CAP faces that came with the game last year were pretty bad, with dozens of duplicates. Fingers crossed.

I'm sure that will be more of the same this year. There will be some cleanup to do. Hopefully next year things will be different. I'm watching a video on YT of someone playing 23 already and Elly De La Cruz of the Reds has a generic looking CAP face that will have to be fixed.
