    Gamepass Version and Early Release?

    Wanted to confirm something about the Gamepass version of the game. Believe there is an option to get an early release version on Gamepass if you pay ~$40 to get it.

    So my question, let's say I buy the early release version and later decide I no longer want to subscribe to Gamepass. Do I lose access to the game even though I paid the extra $40? Or will I still own it and can play it without Gamepass?

    I suspect I would lose it, but just wanted to confirm....if this is stated somewhere officially, would appreciate any links. Thanks!

      If you cancel GamePass you will lose access. The GP early access bundle only entitles you to play during the early access period and receive the bonus packs/stubs. I believe it says "game not included" in the bundle description.

          That would be quite the deal if you could purchase the game for $45 and then cancel Gamepass and keep the game.

              Thanks for confirming, I couldn’t even find the bundle when I first searched. It is what I suspected and understand the reasoning. I have been a long time gamepass user but not sure how much longer I am going to keep it so that is why I was asking.

                      Does signing up for 1 month of gamepass still convert all the existing months of your xbox live gold subscription into gamepass accessible months?

                      That signup method worked for me last year, but I remember reading something somewhere about Microsoft recently stopping that trick from working?

                          I'm pretty sure it still works, it's not 1 to 1. Can find conversion ratio here: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/gold/upgrade
