Suddenly the circles under my fielders are orange instead of blue. Can anyone explain why this is?

Is there a way to get lineups to hold when you sim games without having to go into quick manage then exit out?

Right now I play 1 sim 4 to go through the rotation. But if I just try to sim the date the game totally resets the lineup for that day. If I play the game or quick manage it keeps my normal lineup.

Does The Show typically drop in price at all during the summer? I know NBA 2K sometimes runs marked down deals a couple months into the season but wasn't sure MLB did the same. Would love to find a good deal somewhere.

When I got my PS5, I purchased MLBTS22 from the Playstation Store for $49.69. That was on June 25, 2022.

I have 23 and have been keeping up with the patches but have not started a franchise yet as I am finishing up a 22 season.

I heard that the hitting view I use, The Show 15, is no longer available. Of the remaining ones, which is the most similar?

Dear Lord I am enjoying Manage only mode this season! Im an old fart that played StratOMatic. I played this game swinging, pitching etc and loved it for years and then a friend told me to try it and fell in love with it and with the realism there was no going back.
It really stinks its such a small minority of the community that plays manage only cuz its gonna take forever to add stuff to it based on demand. And its so close to BRILLIANT!
Anyway, they better put sounds of the show back in next year. This music in the menus is killing me and I have to mute it every time they update or I cant even play.
If someone surprises me and responds/contributes to this-thank you in advance.

being rather new to MLB The Show I was wondering. HOW do you guys decide on fair TRADES ?

I wanna run a franchise with trade ability but have no idea on what's fair.

Like for instance if I have Ronald Acuna who would 1 or more 2 guys be fair for a trade?

I am hoping someone can help me out. I simmed the first season and am in the start of the offseason. I am using 30 team control and have one team as mine. But I am doing my own free agents and trades so I turned the CPU profile teams to free agents and trades to manual so they don’t sign anyone on their own. I have contracts set to auto. I got to January and noticed that all the teams only have like 70 players. So I have to go back to a save I made at the beginning of the offseason. But the CPU did not render any contracts on the rookies.

I switched over to a CPU team and go over to the tender contracts button and it says “contracts auto”. I can push square to change it back and forth to manual.

But what is making the cpu not tender any of these players? Is it because free agents are set to manual?

The only way I can see a fix would be to tender each player on every team for them. Or turn on free agents to auto for a couple of days before the December 2nd deadline?

WOW yeah i think you have to go to each team and tender contracts for all of those players otherwise they just end up free agents. You could also leave free agents on auto for those teams and still sign free agents for them if you wanted to. I can't imagine controlling all that for each team that's a lot of work.

Maybe I'll try to set the free agents to auto like 2 days before the deadline and then sim and see if that gives them enough time to tender the contracts. And hope they don't make any offers and sign anybody in those 2 days. lol

Good luck. I would save multiple files if you can just in case.

I do 30 team control and I love being able to adjust all the rosters/lineups to make sure everyone is at full strength. And I do monitor the other team off season moves, but I only make adjustments if I see something that really doesnt make sense. What you're doing takes a lot more work it seems.

I normally do the same thing you do. But I want to start a new franchise and play in 2024. So I simmed a season with the latest live rosters and now have a save file at the beginning of the offseason. Once I get through the top free agents, I will let the CPU control everything. And then I can play in 2024.

It wasn't that much work. But now if I have to go through each team and tender their contracts that will take some extra time.
