Thank you, Sir! I absolutely hate the man on 2nd in extras but this is baseball now. They ought to go to a points system like hockey.
    My Astros would be 3 - 3 - 0 - 2. How many points is that?

I play with it the extra inning automatic runner off while in franchise mode but I play a good bit of exhibition Play Now games with it on, so I just hope the Studio is able to keep it optional indefinitely.

incidentally, I also thought I'd never go to DH on for the NL but that much I did finally decide to mimic IRL MLB starting in 23

if you dont mind having less than minimum roster control, even less control over what game (or more likely, what portion of game) you play on your schedule, if you dont mind being forced in to playing some games Player Locked as one player, I guess it could be considered fun by some people.
me, I like my franchise "sandbox heavy", and M2O is too restrictive and unflexible for my personal taste. as much as I wanted to like it when first introduced, ultimately I have to give it 2 thumbs down. however, I am willing to give it 2 middle fingers up

Does the CPU still put RP in at SP if they get an INJ?

Trying to figure out if they fixed that and whether or not 30 TC is necessary.

          Thanks!

Is there a way to start a Franchise using dynamic difficulty but select a difficulty starting point like All-Star or HOF vs having to start at beginner?

              thx

Quick question, recently switched over from Show 20 to 23. Anyone else noticing fielding seems slow? Seems like a lot of ball get through the infield that players would normally snag in 20. Also, has anyone had luck smoothing out frame rate in PS4? Thanks!

It's probably the reaction times you're noticing. One of the years in between 20 and 23 had a focus on making the best fielders play like the best fielders, and scaling everything else down from that. With lesser rated (or out of position) fielders you'll see them get slower jumps on the ball more often, which allows more balls to get through on average. The good ones can still get very good jumps on the ball consistently though, and can more easily turn those plays into outs.

Can't help much on the PS4 question as I only have a PS5, and when running the PS4 version on it it doesn't drop a frame.

Yes, when you first load the game (like first time ever) you can select your starting difficulty for your profile. If you've already played a bunch you can delete or add another profile. Alternatively, just play a few Spring training games and set the dynamic difficulty slider up to it's max, won't take long to get to a starting setting you're looking for.
