I'm disappointed they didn't add missing away uniforms (95 Orioles, 94 Brewers Alternate etc) but was stoked the missing 83-93 Giants away uniform made it in.


As for current sets, SDS needs to step it up and add the missing Rangers Sunday Powder Blue.

One of the most annoying thing is on this game or Madden when you have a home throwback uniform but the road version isn't in. Madden is the worst about putting in uniforms and only giving you the home option. It makes it nearly impossible to play a game where both teams are wearing throwback uniforms.

I'm glad they kept the 2021 Nats jersey. I feel the Nationals downgraded when they changed the home jersey, the white cap is horrible.

1947 Brooklyn Dodgers home made it in. 1919 Yankees Away and 1927 Home made it in plus the Giants 1983-1993 Away. Too bad no 95 Orioles Away, 94 Brewers Alternate, 90 Cubs away. But can't wait for Tuesday. Just hope you can play with throwback uniforms in exhibition and they won't revert back to default as someone pointed out.

I wish they would put in the Cubs 1994-1996 away uniforms. I didn't even know those existed until a couple months ago when I came across and old Cubs vs. Braves game on YouTube and had to do some digging on the Cubs uniforms.

I can't believe Arizona went with the Teal/White instead of Red/Black for their home uniform.

Awful decision. The only time teal has worked for them is when they were teal and purple. Mixing in teal with red and black just does not work. I loved their original teal and purple uniforms but their 2007 rebrand was great too. No idea why they felt the need to screw with things every few years when that 2007 uniform set was great.

You're right. When Madden switched to PS3 they left out most of the Away Throwback uniforms but patched a few in the PS4 era. Now PS5 era and Madden can't add the missing 80's Broncos Whtite/Oilers 80's White etc.


SDS did get it right this year by adding the missing 1983-1993 Away Giants uniform. They still won't add the missing Orioles 1995 Away uniform when the home is in. Same for the Cubs. The early 90's Home (same as 80's) is in but an early 90's Away is not in.


Missing Alternates is also a joke (Brewers 1994-1999 Navy Alternate, Blue Jays 1994-1996).




SDS never patches in any throwback uniforms. The only uniforms to be patched in 2023 will be the 6 City Connect uniforms.

I just noticed the uniform bug now. I can't pick uniforms for the opponent team. The team I control only. The opponent team goes back to default home/away during the exhibition games. Haven't tested franchise yet.

That wasn't an issue last year.

If you have a 2nd controller, you can use that as a workaround.

It is NOT an issue in Franchise Mode. You can choose the uniform for your opponent and it sticks.

Exhibition is fine on PS4. Just played 1980 Phillies VS 1986 Rangers and both uniforms were in tact.

None of their alternates have teal either. I hate it when teams uniforms are all over the place.

This is the way I felt in the 90s and early 2000s when so many teams like the Reds, Mets, Royals, Athletics, Diamondbacks all started using black in their uniforms when black wasn't one of their colors. I hated the black trend so much. Now the Mets have gone back to having a black jersey and it makes no sense. If black isn't one of your official team colors then you shouldn't use it. This doesn't just apply to MLB teams either. One of the dumbest things I see in the NFL is when the 49ers or Jets wear black. Like really? Why are you wearing black?

I would love to be able to play as the Broncos and have their 1990s away uniforms. I was stunned when a couple years ago they finally added the 1990s away uniforms for the Falcons. I never thought those would be put in.

still yet to see the CPU randomly change a uniform they always go with the default one. did they change this??
