Anyone have an issue when editing players, stances or pitching motions it won't let you change but only loads the current stance or windup and when you move to other it won't change. On PS5. and mostly does it in Franchise.

I’m just not understanding this. On AUTO field, MANUAL throw, the blue circle used to appear just as the fielder got close to fielding the ball. Now it comes on as soon as the ball is hit in the direction of the player who will field the ball!!!!!!!
C’mon!

Another bug report submitted. Was this snuck in with the last patch????

Twice since the last patch the game has reacted like I just installed and started for the first time asking me for…
1. Favorite team.
2. Whether I want simulation/casual, etc.
3. If I want dynamic difficulty on

Had this issue since the last update, but I hate having the music playing on the menu screens. I always go in and turn off all the music in the jukebox. But since an update ago every time I start the game all the music is playing and I have to go into the jukebox each time and disable all the songs again, when before that update the music stayed disabled.

I've been having a weird thing in Franchise where every time it gets to Kyle Muller's turn in the rotation for my Triple A team, it skips him. I can go in and rearrange the rotation so that it's back on track and he's starting the next game, but next time around, skips him again. It's really weird, and annoying. Took a few turns before I noticed, as I don't play most Triple A games. But there were probably 3 times through the rotation where my Triple A team was on a 4 man rotation and Muller wasn't pitching at all

I'd had that too. Super annoying. Hopefully that's fixed now. One of the first things I did today after the update was test this. Still happening.

I keep having a franchise issue where roster control is set to manual but the computer takes over and signs free agents and moves players from AAA to the MLB etc. It is very frustrating. I started my franchise over to make sure I had the settings right and it did it again. I went to mode specific and everything was set to manual. Any idea how to stop this from happening and gain full control of the rosters?

I play 30 team ROSTER CONTRO ON. Everything is set to MANUAL.

I simmed my thru the August 2nd games to play my August 3rd game.

The ACQUISITIONS screen now shows:

Free Agents
Player Search
Player Search
Contracts

The first Player Search should be CPU ROSTER CONTROL.

Clicking on that takes me back to the HOME screen.

I have several franchise backup files. They all do the same thing.

I encountered a weird bug today. In my Franchise, Dylan Moore is somehow up to 107 steal. He's a 99 on the Live Roster, and in fact that's the Maximum. Unlike Power/Contact/etc. that can go up to 125 in DD, Steal is capped at 99. Moore is the only one in my file with a steal over 99.

I'm 10 games in and Acuna, Olson, Albies and Riley are all low on energy. I've even DH'd Acuna twice already.

IRL, those four have played all 102 games so far this season (and the All-Star game).

Yeah, I was thinking that today. It is tough to balance. Because playing players in the field every single day isn't really all that common. Those 4 guys, Marcus Semien, and Freddie Freeman are, I believe, the only 6 players to have started every game in the field.

There are 34 players who have played 100 games at this point. We're probably looking at 30-40 guys ending the year with 150 games in the field this year, compared to just 21 last year. It's hard to do that in this game. Especially with guys who don't have durability in the 90s (durability plays a big role in how much energy a player loses, and Acuña is only at 75 durability).

Hopefully the adjust that, because star players are playing nearly everyday these days. At the very least, make it a slider. But I'd suggest that guys with 95-99 durability should be able to play 15+ games or so without needing a day off or a day at DH at any position except Catcher.

After the trading deadline, the CPU Roster Control option disapears and is replaced by a 2nd Player Search option, that does nothing when selected

ACQUISITIONS menu after the trading deadline:

• Free Agents
• Player Search (does nothing when selected)
• Player Search
• Contracts

ACQUISITIONS menu should be:

• Free Agents
• CPU Roster Control
• Player Search
• Contracts

This bug seems to appear in almost every new version of The Show. They always fix it, but the following year it occurs once again.
