Same sorta, put this in another thread

Was playing 2nd game of the franchise. had to save it and come back now every time I try to load in to the game it starts loading them gives and error and crashes

This is on ps5. Not sure how to report it in a way they see it but what a mess. So much for a sunday playing the show.

I hope they get that fixed sooner rather than later. Game sounds almost unplayable at this point. I won't be able to enjoy a game because I'll be sitting there wondering if it's going to make it through to the end the whole time.

I am with you I wont be playing any more franchise games until they fix it. No point I agree. I hope they fix it so my save works as well.

Crashing for me as well usually in the 8th inning

It’ll probably be fixed in the next patch, hopefully on Tuesday when the full launch happens. I’m pretty sure that the crashing and the ‘can’t turn off blue rings around fielders’ bugs were a problem last year, too. Sucks to see them slip right through into the game again.

Let’s hope SDS doesn’t accidentally renew those bugs contracts again for 24’s launch.

Usually a day 1 patch. And officially Tuesday is actually day 1 so hopefully.[emoji1696]

I had thought about deleting game but dont want to lose my save files. I am going to wait until Tuesday and see what happens

No way I’d delete it now either. Sucks you paid the extra money for nothing though. And on top of that you still may have to end up deleting it if the patch doesn’t help.

Yup always in the 8th inning for me also. Would be nice, if it has to happen, if it was maybe the first or second inning instead of the 8th.

You won't lose your save files if you delete the game off your console. Save files are separate from game data files.

When I bounced back to '21 after I had issues with '22, I had to re-install the game but my saves files were still on the system.

For those that have experienced crashes.

First and foremost, be sure to report the crash to SDS website theshow.com

They will ask you for details as well as the error code that is provided.


Also share what rosters you are using, teams, mode, stadium, time of game, or any other pertinent information you can think of to help determine the cause of the crashes.

I'm on ps5 and played nothing by random games in franchise testing sliders. I've had it blue screen on me one time in the 7th inning of a game out of the at least 20 games I've played so far. Bryan who does sliders with me has had his crash 2 times that I know of. So it does happen, but not seeing it as others seem to be. I'm sure the first day patch will address this. Gotta remember the game isn't technically released yet.

Stadium creator has all the same issues as last year‘s did on launch. Template stadiums replace your stadium and stadium files get corrupted. Once again, do multiple saves in order to keep your work. I can’t believe all these old issues are back plus some new ones I have found.
