Don't have access to search. But is auto baserunning broken?

A ball hitting the outfield fence and no runner never advanced to 2nd? Do I manually do it?

Also on a deep fly with runner on second no attempt to make it to 3rd base? I did see a green pop up for tag up though, but figured it was auto baserunning.

Could have sworn during the tech test a hit into the gap hitting the wall the runner didn't go to second on that and figured it was a glitch.

EDIT: Went back to see the replay, I guess the ball got there so fast the runner was going to second but had to return. At least he attempted to continue running.

Just now Andrew Mcutchen hit a super easy bouncing double in the gap and he did end up second. But watched the replay and he literally turned first base, stopped almost went back to first and the fielder hadn't barely gotten to the ball and then he ran to second for still and easy double.

So weird. I was tapping L1 to advance just in case but not fully committed, did that cause that hesitation? Gonna be irritated if I can't depend on the cpu for some simple baserunning moves.

I understand that, but in past years a 1-1 starting count would only add one pitch to the total as a counter balance to keep pitch counts at a realistic number. This simulated some one and two pitch at bats in effect.



Now all pitches are counting and even with stamina at 9, foul frequency at 1 it's a miracle if you're not over 100 pitches in the 5th inning.

QC user since it's inception. Unbelievable that this is broken now after all these years. Praying for a patch and this was not intended. Forced to play with QC off until it. Sucks bad

I don’t know if anyone else is having this issue. I started a franchise. Started 10-1. I had to save in the middle of a game so I could put my kids to bed. I came back and every time I try to load my save the game crashes.

Not corrupted thankfully. Just crashes. I can go back 11 games to the very beginning. But I can’t seem to load that one save. I’ve restarted my console in safe mode. I’ve rebuilt the database. I’ve done everything.

Is anyone else having this issue? Also; PS5 user here.

All Consoles

Wrist guards (under fielding gear) never show up for right-handed players while they bat. I believe they always show up for lefties such as Charlie Blackmon, but they disappear for players like Nolan Arenado or J.T. Realmuto. This has been a glitch that I was hoping would be patched by now, but I've seen it since at least last year and possibly even 21

PS5 - Exhibition mode
Select a uniform for the CPU team. When you get into the game, the uniform you selected has reverted back to the default home/away uni.

PS5 - Franchise mode
On August 3rd, the Roster Control option changes to "Player Search" (a second 'player search'. The original is just below it) and does nothing when it is selected.

Pre Aug. 3rd menu:
Free Agents
Roster Control
Player Search
Contracts

Post Aug 3rd menu:
Free Agents
Player Search
Player Search
Contracts

Please fix so that the Roster Control option remains in the menu.

RTTS Equipment is broken. If you equip the branded gear with boosts it seems to be locked on to your player no matter how many times you change the equipment look. If you change it in the main menu, it fixes it until you load back in to your RTTS career.

Really looks dumb going in to games as a SP with glasses and a compression sleeve. I don't want those on my guy any time, but I could live with it in the field. Still surprised after all these years they don't automatically force pitchers to wear legal uniforms.

FRANCHISE MODE

32 TEAM CONTROL

On MLB22 you could switch and draft for all 32 teams; you cannot switch teams this year and are stuck with drafting for one team.

*I worry if it is like this that the Rule 5 Draft in offseason could also have this issue; haven't tried it yet though.

Gabe has crashed kicking me back to the Home Screen on several occasions while actively in Franchise mode.
This never happened in last year’s game. I hope they get it sorted out soon.

Playing in manage mode. I call for a pitch-out and it ends up being a meatball down the middle. It's happened 3 times now. The catcher never even moves out like it's supposed to be a pitch-out.

Gloves in back pockets don’t show up and there is some “glitching” issues with collars of the jerseys meshing with the undershirt in minor leagues of RTTS.

Don’t know about majors.

I had a game crash on me in franchise game I was broadcasting on twitch, like 3rd inning. Padres at Braves. 1st time ever happened to me in the show.
