I'll have to see how it is on my sound system. Because right now, just hearing the sound through the tv, the bat sounds bad. Like I was wondering how this even made it out of the beta. Perfect perfect sounded like you really squared crushed the ball last year. When I hit them now it seems like they're using the wrong sound.

Bat sounds are great this year. So many different sounds. Some of the best we have had in a long time.

I hit one out with Joc P last night, it wasn't perfect perfect but it was hit hard. The sound was insanely great. Even had that little echo.

You may want to disable the 3D audio option on your PS5 and see if that makes a difference for you.

Respectfully, to the people who say the bat sounds are "terrible" have you watched a live baseball game? Have you ever attended a game? in my opinion, the bat/ball sounds are VERY realistic and similar to what you see/hear in real life!

Yup, bat sounds are terrible this year. 90% of contact sounds like a weak foul tip, even on a solid base hit. Glad I kept '22 so far.

At least in last year's game you KNEW it every time the ball hit the meat of the barrel.

I actually like the bat sounds this year. Not sure why but I really can hear the difference when i clock one

Are actually the most realistic bat sounds the game has ever had. I believe they recorded them live. That's my guess, anyway.

If there was a dislike button, I'm sure I would get a bunch of them.

I think we all just got used to how they sounded before, which wasn't very realistic. If you watch a game on tv, they're spot on this year.

It’s so funny how different people experience different things. I clicked on this thread expecting it to be positive about bat sounds. I was just thinking while playing last night how great the sounds are—a huge improvement over last year. To me, they’re beautiful.
