If they wait until June to fix it that would be a really bad look. I'd bet on it happening a lot sooner than that.

yeah, I think I'd rather the Studio do a quick patch to put it back the way it was previously if it's going to be June before that monstrosity that's currently in there is removed.

also, when they do fix it, they ought to do a surprise reveal where when you hit a homer off the screen, it triggers an explosion animation and it crumbles to obliteration, revealing the new patched in screen lmao

I am excited to fly up to see the home opener this week and see the new score board. I am not really sure how fast they will be on the things like RF or the speak easy club lol. Scoreboard they already said they would.

I am more disappointed Buck did not choose to be in the game

Just played my first game at Citi field yesterday night.

OMG…. I had the same feeling as my first time at an IMAX Theatre where i was sitting on first row !!

They changed it back to the old scoreboard in todays patch.

Did they announce the new scoreboard is coming in patch 3 or was he referring to the change back to old scoreboard in patch 2? I haven’t read the patch notes yet.

was the design of the original new scoreboard (the oversized version)
a different design of the one they went with instead? or was it just a larger version of the new IRL scoreboard?

I believe the current setup in a bigger screen in center field a smaller screen in right center instead of one gigantic screen.

The oversized was shut down by the city and the airport apparently, so they took the current scoreboards in Center and Right and rather than have a screen with non-digital ads, they removed everything and made it all one huge screen.

So I assume SDS took the original and just updated it back to last years in the latest patch (haven’t had time to check). I’d assume they’ll re-patch it again in a few months once they’d have a chance to see how the scoreboard looks since it was just finished a few weeks ago.
