Outfields that are scaled correctly. No player even at 99 speed should be running down liners in the gap every time

IMHO I can live with the outfields scaled as is. I can always go to the global sliders and set the fielder speed from anywhere default five to zero or 10 or anywhere in between

Yeah I’ve had to lower fielder run speed all the way down to 1 to make it somewhat realistic. This is an issue every year

The problem with that is the opponents getting way too many EBHs and triples

I agree, drives me nuts that CPU OFs get to EVERYTHING... They've taken away so many would be doubles in the gaps.

Curious if 0 Fielder Speed / 0 Fielder React would work?

Man I have not seen this issue. I've had a decent amount of extra base hits when hit solidly in the gaps. If they're floater hits and the OF has decent speed, he's going to run them down.

I dont know I'm definitely not suggesting that you're wrong. lol I definitely don't screw around with sliders all that much though. I tend to have the mentality that if I didn't hit it past the OF, then I didn't hit it well enough.

I set reaction and speed to 4/4 every year, and I think it is fine for me. I see nice varieties per game of XBH. I even see balls that go over fielders head as they try to chase it down.

What I love about it this year is the no doubt gappers. You can tell right off the bat that nobody is getting to the ball. I’ll make sure I override the auto baserunning and it’s off to the races with men on.

I hit a bullet gap shot to right center with Joc last night, it was super satisfying to say the least the ball was absolutely smoked. Too bad it was one a very few highlights from that game......

Same here. Default AS is tuned better this year than ever...especially when it comes to fielding and that feel of "space".

Thanks for the comments fellas! Maybe its just me thinking balls are hanging longer in the air than I think they should be, LOL

I'm gonna try the 1/4 setting I saw in one of the slider threads... Maybe that will help.
