When you go to the Tampa bay rays uniforms it seems there road unis are missing

Astros are missing their orange hat with blue bill worn on sundays. They didn’t wear them last year, but they’re still in the style guide as an alternate hat. Should still be in the game.

They dropped their gray jerseys. The dark blues are their road jerseys now.

Was just reading sportslogos.net’s article on what’s new in uniform land for the 2023 season. Turns out the Astros officially took that hat out of the style guide this year.

Braves:

You know what's funny about that, is that they know that's wrong. When in Franchise, if the game automatically defaults to the alternate jersey, it pairs it with the normal road pants (which have the red stripe). They haven't worn the blue pant stripes since they changed their road alternate to the blue jersey with red lettering before the 2019 season.

That's kinda my thinking as well. It's just funny that I don't think the Braves have ever worn those pants with those jerseys.

I remember the "style guide" being the reason that blues were terribly off in like every 2k game. They had to specifically use the shade of blue MLB gave them, but the lighting system made every blue way too light. I think they kinda fixed it a few times. Biggest reason I played my last couple games of that franchise on PC because that stuff could get modded.

DBacks wore their Red w/ Black brim cap yesterday and had red sleeves, this combo should make red sleeves in The Show but it remains black.

As has been posted here, The Show would really benefit from 2K’s uniform selection process. It would be great to select not only caps, jerseys, and pants. But sleeves color, belt color, sock color, batting helmet, etc.

I'm still hoping for the day when we can select belt color for players. We've seen players have different color belts from the default belt color. Before Acuna got hurt in 2021 he was wearing a red belt even though blue is the normal Braves belt color. When Liam Hendricks was with the A's he was wearing a yellow belt when the A's normal belt color is green. Pulled up a picture of the Padres city connect uniforms a few days ago and noticed in the picture I looked at of two different belt colors.

It looks like they removed the uniform number off of the brim and back of the batting helmets for the Yankees. They were correct last year.

Also the numbers are still sitting too low, but I’ve given up on that one.

It's not like the uniform number (on the back) issue for the Yanks (and Red Sox home) can't be rectified. The uniforms for the Negro League mode proved it CAN BE DONE.

Unfortunately, the SDS team and their fixation with that mode this development cycle meant that other things were just plain NEGLECTED.
