Question about transferring custom rosters into franchise mode

I know in the past when people would edit rosters prior to uploading them in the franchise mode the 26 man would get messed up at times , the 40 man

I am wondering if I went through roster edit mode and set every team 26 man roster and had nobody else on the 40man when i input it into the franchise mode. If I start with spring training will it just still have the 26 guys in camp?

Trying to setup rosters and not have them get shuffled or reverse all my work

no that wont work anymore they took that out 3 years ago. u have to make your moves in spring training then move into season for anything to stick

Not sure about what you asked specifically.

The way I ensure nothing gets screwed up is make note of what level you put everyone on the 40 man in before you start the franchise.

If you a guy in AAA in the roster file, when you end spring training make sure that player is in AAA.

Do that for all players, teams and your lineups/rotations won’t get messed with

couple of years ago you can edit the roster in the main screen then load it up bypass spring training and the rosters will stick. but recently they took it out and now you have to do your edits during spring training then the rosters will stick

          Worked for me last year.
I took note on a spreadsheet of who on 40 man was in MLB,AAA,AA and last day of Spring Training I sent down everyone accordingly.

Lineups and Rotations I edited in the main menu before starting the franchise was intact.
