Thanks guys. I fixed this on Friday. It’ll be in the next patch. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Steve, the fix is not in the new patch that was just released. When I added the walkup music and closed the game, all the tracks got deleted from any jukebox or music cues again. Please let us know when it will be fixed. Thanks.

Steve, the update did not fix the issue. I just spent 15 hours updating all of my sounds for the 3rd time now and they reset to default again. Before I spent hours working on this again I tried only updating a few presentation sounds and then turned off the PS4 and reloaded the game and the sounds were still there. I did this a few times with no issue so I thought the issue was fixed and then proceeded to update all of the rest. Once I was done I shut down and reloaded and everything was Default except the Chants.

The customization with Sounds of the Show is the main reason that the MLB THE SHOW Franchise is the Ultimate Baseball Game so needless to say I am very disappointed and regret ever upgrading from the 2020 to the 2023 version of this game.

Correct. It’ll be in the next one. I checked it in on Tuesday. (Fixed on the Friday before but couldn’t check in the fix until Tuesday as 1.03 had closed days before.)

Thank you very much Steve! Your attention to our passion for SOTS is much appreciated. I know we are a niche crowd these days (when compared to the game’s other features), but those who love SOTS see it as a reason to play the game and something that allows us to recreate what we hear in real life and immerse into our passion of baseball presentation.

Keep up the great work and thank you once again … it’s nice to know we have at least someone there at SDS who’s got our back in regard to SOTS!

Yeah, man. It was a passion of mine as well. It was a pretty unique feature in console gaming. Unfortunately, us programmers and audio designers don't have a lot of control about what gets attention. If more people used it and were vocal about it, it would probably get more love. Part of that is probably our fault for not making it easier to use and better documented. Also, most platforms don't even have a mechanism for supporting it.

I'm retiring at the end of the month so I'll be watching from the sidelines along with you for future titles. Keep fighting the good fight! Glad SOTS brought a niche audience an extra level of immersion for all those years.

Thanks Steve! Do you have a recommendation for what our SOTS community can do to have a voice to maintain SOTS next year and beyond? If it weren't for SOTS, I would not buy this game year over year. I live for SOTS! The immersion is everything to many of us! I can't believe other customers wouldn't absolutely love to have this immersion too! It doesn't seem to be promoted much but if it was added to the PS5 version, I'm sure it would take off again!!! Thank you Steve!

SOTS is my favorite feature on The Show. Love making custom walkup music for everyone. One year I even did it for all players on 20 teams!

So excited for the patch. Really hoping Steve's hard work pays off. Yes, I know. Patch 1.04 hasn't been released yet. It appears to have been pushed back to early May due to other reasons. Plus, I'm still waiting for QA to confirm the fix. I just pinged them.

QA has now confirmed the fix. Your SOTS changes will also endure roster updates. Enjoy in patch 1.04!
