Are the new rules in MLB the Show 23? I haven’t seen a pitch clock no have I been penalized for taking too long to pitch. I know the pickoff rules are not in the game but what about the rest?

Pitch clock and pickoff rules are not in the game. Their not needed honestly. You can pitch as fast as you want, and also make the cpu do the same.

Everything else, like new CBA rules, schedules and expanded playoffs are in.

No pitch clock or pickoff limit in 23.

I'm fine with no pitch clock because it's something that would only affect the user (negatively) anyway - the CPU is never going to take longer than it normally does unless you're holding R2 as the batter. Pickoffs...yeah, I kinda wish there was something for that in the vs.CPU game.

I agree with what others have said. To add the pitch clock in the game would certainly be cute but very unlikely to affect the game you're playing because you can always speed up the action on your own.

I'm assuming the pick off rules are not there due to the cpu pickoff logic. You'd just need to take an extra step on your lead and they'd pickoff until they gave you the extra base every time lol
