Defense throwing meter

I don't post much here, but for the life of me I can't find how to get the new throwing mechanics going on defense. The first few days I played the game the new mechanic was the green area moving depending on the fielding attributes and difficulty of the the throw.
Now, for some reason these last few days, it's just always centered. I don't think I had messed with the settings until I noticed it not happening at all the last few game,i even went to practice mode and no luck. I have the fielding set to button accuracy.

I believe if any "Fielding Aids" are on, including catcher calling pitches, it does not move. Even then, it only moves in certain situations it deems to be difficult enough. It's a little bit unpredictable, though I like the idea.

The throwing meter depends on quite a few things. I've played roughly 20 games in franchise mode with the throwing meter on and I have seen it stay static on easy ground balls directly to a fielder and I've seen it move both right and left on more difficult plays/throws or when the fielder was running down a ball in the hole or gap. I like that it is not always the same on every ball in play. It has made errors by me more realistic and more common than in previous versions of The Show.

I think that's what I did, now that I think about It. I wanted the catcher api on, and I think that's when the dynamic throw meter stopped. I'll have to check later tonight if that'll work.

Same thing happened to me. Turn off Fielding Aids and the new throwing meter becomes enabled.
