    Pitching ball marker

Let me start this off by saying I pitch on Legend with Classic interface. Also, I turn the ball marker off. I’ve done that for more than 15 years.

I have been struggling with pitching and it’s primarily from grossly missing my spots. Out of curiosity, I turned ON the ball marker to see where it was starting. To my surprise, the ball marker was starting in a different location depending on pitch selection. In other words—having the ball marker OFF turned into all luck.

I went back to 22, and found that the ball marker starts right down the middle—as it should!

Has anyone else noticed this abrupt change? For what it’s worth, I even tried a different controller, thinking it might be a controller issue. But everything is fine on that point.

Folks talk about franchise issues being game-breaking, but THIS truly makes the game unplayable.

Also one more thing to point out—I lowered the difficulty to Veteran to see if that made a difference, but no. Please tell me others are seeing this…

    Re: Pitching ball marker

I pitch with the ball marker on at all times and it always starts in the center of the strike zone (right down the middle) no matter what pitch I select to throw.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I’m at a loss. No issues with 22. I just flat out refuse to use the ball marker since I haven’t used it in forever and further because SDS took away all options that don’t have a stupid ball trail.

That's strange. I'm using classic with the ball marker off and vibration off and I've been able to pitch pretty well. Up to HOF+ using dynamic difficulty and haven't noticed the ball missing horribly from where I think I'm trying to throw it

this is me. i'm a classic pitcher user. i use no ball marker, no vibration. HOF (not dynamic). and it feels just as it always has. i didnt check the marker, but nothing feels off to me. my pitches go in the area i'm aiming (variabled for how good/bad the pitcher is of course).
