    Commentators off cue?

I've had a few instances where commentating have gone off script and completely unrelated to what's going on.

Playing ST Marlins VS Cardinals, Nolan Arenado AB, they talked about him and Matt Chapman being HS teammates both Gold gloves etc, no issue, and then randomly they started referring Arenado as Josh Donaldson??

Playing a ST game, Marlins VS Cardinals, Boog Sciambi is talking about something he learned from Jim Leyland when he was a Marlins broadcaster, and then he ended with visiting Mark Kotsay for dinner last night?

Playing ST game, LAA vs Athletics, talking about Anthony Rendon College athlete at Rice etc, and then started talking about Roberto Clemente?

    Anyone else?
    Miami Heat
    Miami Marlins
    Miami Dolphins
    Florida Panthers
    Miami Hurricanes
    Chelsea Blues
    InterMiami

I've noticed this also, more than any other year. One that gets me, that I see pretty often, is they discuss a closer coming in to "closeout the game" in the 8th inning...

If there obvious bugs here, definitely report them on the SDS website. Be specific as to the feedback (i.e. when it happened, game situation, etc.).

They did a TON of optimization last year throughout the cycle to the commentary threading and I am sure they can/will do the same again this year but they need to know where issues occur.
Play the games you love, not the games you want to love.

Will do! I was just curious if others were experiencing it as well, I get the randomness of commentating to keep it lively, but these were all just one off. The Arenado being called Josh Donaldson after the High School story was what alerted me to listen to other stories.

I notice, every time I have someone on first, even if they have 0 speed. Singleton "Now they have a chance to get creative with some good speed on first."

It happened to me twice: Ozzie Albies at bat, very clutch moment in both situations... and the announcers talk about how many languages Albies speak.

First franchise game at Yankee Stadium and already that f***ing suit story from Singleton.

                  Re: Commentators off cue?

I’m not sure if this is by design or just an oversight but several times when a reliever comes in with a three run or less lead they say he’s coming in for a save no matter what inning it is. Now technically this is correct it is a save situation, but you would never hear an announcer say someone is coming in for a save opportunity when the setup man comes in for the 8th
