    Franchise - Spring Training

Curious how everyone handles Spring Training with their franchises in MLB The Show 23.

    Play Spring Training?
    Sim through Spring Training?
    Start Franchise at Regular Season?

I would like to develop some of my young prospects in Spring Training, however, I wasn't sure if I wanted to dedicate the time to playing those games if I don't see much growth in the players ratings. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I play the games until I’ve determined who I want to make the big league club and then sim the rest

I play the spring games and mix in prospects here and there each game. I play all of spring. Around the last two weeks of spring, I will focus on strating lineup and any position battle. I will start sending guys down I think have no shot of making regular season.
Really wish sports games played to ratings!
Only thing SIM about sports games now, are the team name and players
      CFB 25 The absolute GOAT!!!
MLB 23 FOREVER 20 is better, 23 just for Guardians
Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.

I pretty much do the same as forme.
I will add that I play in a different Park every game to help break up the routine

I sim and use stats to determine who starts the season with team.

Do the players have to be on your 40-man roster to be able to play in Spring Training? Or can any player on your roster play?

              Play All Games
Have 4 starters make 4 starts and go from 2 3 4 5 innings and a few relief Appearances and total 20 innings

5th Spot battle of 2 pitchers 2 innings and add a inning each appearance total 4 appearances

Then rest of starters make appearances here and there

Main relief guys try to get 10 15 innings
And fill in the rest with guys destined to go down

Main lineup try to get 50 60 AB
              Bubble guys about 30
Guys destined to go down maybe 20

                Unfortunately, yes they do.

I wish SCEA would change this, to add "non-roster" invitees to spring training, like happens in real life.

I play every game to see how I do with certain players. I also play every game because I use dynamic and I let it set my level for the regular season.
