I haven't seen Pedro Baez in 23 but last year in 22 with Houston, the huge pause he employs killed me with anticipation. Thankfully he was a reliever and not a starting pitcher.
    T-BONE.

I don't know if I ever faced Joel Payamps before this year, but holy cow is he a pain in the butt with the Brewers. He throws HARD breaking stuff that seems like it gets extra acceleration and lands with a thud just outside or just below the zone. He's also a sinkerballer, and so virtually every pitch is at the very, very bottom of the zone or lower.

As far as right handed relief pitchers with a normal release go, he's quickly up there as one I have the most trouble against.

Was just coming to say this.... the forkball looks identical to the fastball out of the hand. So I either sit forkball and get roasted with fastballs or sit fastball and swing 5 seconds too early.

With the marlins, I do well against Scherzer and Verlander just for Kodai to come in and piece me up. Lucky if I get one run in 7 innings...

Scherzer used to be so impossible to read he was essentially a glitch. He'd go through his windup and then suddenly the ball was halfway to the plate before I really saw it leave his hand. I have to think that they did that to make him almost unhittable when he was in his prime.
