Man...that shot of Busch from The Show 23 on Switch looks GREAT! Really odd that differing platforms makes a difference on the art in this case. That's why I think it has to be a bug, which is good in the sense it should be fixable. One thing that I recall noticing in previous versions were some of the ballparks being better lit during Franchise games as opposed to Exhibition. Can't confirm this year as I won't start Franchise until I get my rosters squared away.

Re: 2023 Stadium errors and omissions
Would be cool if they could fix this:
Camden Yards scoreboard clock should be lit up, and the Orioles text above it should be neon orange.
The backstop should have rotating ads, not the nike swoosh sign.
I know this a new renovation, but hopefully they can remove the Oriole Park (The Sun) scoreboard sign in an upcoming patch.
Just to mention it, the clock atop the scoreboard at Oracle Park in SF is even worse. Much as with Camden Yards, the one at Oracle is memorable and stands out. There was a bug a couple of years ago where if you played day games at Oracle, the face of the clock was unreadable. It seemed like it was supposed to be a daylight transition thing but a bug of sorts made it so it was permanently white from glare even during night games.
They seemed to have resolved the bug but the clock is nowhere near as illuminated as it should be.Comment

Re: 2023 Stadium errors and omissions
In addition to the issues with signs/lighting at T-Mobile Park, Busch Stadium and others, I went through and looked at some of the other parks during night games and came across a couple of things like:
Neon Twins logo at Target Field not lighting up
Target Field sign has Target logo as white and not red
Wrigley Field Centerfield scoreboard needs accent lights (way too dark from batters box)
Rogers Centre signs beyond centerfield ('Rogers' and 'The Show') are not lit.
All that being said, some of the work they've donate light up other parks look great!
The aforementioned 'Guardians' and 'Progressive Field' signs at Progressive Field
The lit up pin wheels at Gauranteed Rate Field
The right field sign at Wrigley
The 'W' and 'Nationals' signs at Nationals Park
As a matter of fact, the level of lighting that Nationals Park signs have are what these other parks (especially Busch Stadium) are missing.
Later this evening, I'm going to start listing these out with screen caps from IRL and the game and submit bugs.Comment

Yeah the "GUARDIANS" on the scoreboard is lit up pretty bright in real life, but in the game its not at all.Attached FilesJUUUUUUUST A BIT OUTSIDEComment

Re: 2023 Stadium errors and omissions
The Tigers lowered their right field wall a little bit this year, and added some plants between the wall and stands. SDS got this, but added full on bushes rather than the little potted flowers.
Also, T-Mobile Park in Seattle. The OF walls are waaayyy too light. I know this is an issue at Progressive Field too. Should be closer to the Tigers walls (though still a slightly different shade, similar brightness). And more minor issues, the bullpens look like they're much too high, the out of town scoreboard looks undersized, and behind home plate, the padding the led ad boards should be green, not tan. And the logo behind homeplate looks like a placemat, not painted on grass.

Surprising you feel that way about Progressive Field's signs. I thought they did a pretty good job with the Progressive Field scoreboard this year. It's one of the ballparks I always check when a new version of the game comes out. But I get we all have our expectations for the parks we love.

Re: 2023 Stadium errors and omissions
For years, I always looked to see if they did Progressive Field justice. I have a personal affinity to alot of ballparks from taking trips to them over the years. I caught a game in Cleveland when it was still "The Jake". Always loved that park mostly from watching playoff games back in the mid-to-late 90's with the Thome, Vizquel, Manny, Alomar, Kenny Lofty days.Comment

Re: 2023 Stadium errors and omissions
Is there a reason that they can have the real Coke bottle in LF in Oracle Park but in other places like Busch Stadium and Citi Field they have a generic logo instead of Coke?Comment

Re: 2023 Stadium errors and omissions
My guess is that it's just lower on the priorities list for the art team, which is understandable. They only have so many resources in terms of Dev hours available for creating new historic ballparks, adding/updating content for 'Create-a-Stadium', etc.
Hopefully submitting alot of these things as official bugs may help get some eventual traction.Comment
