Looking for Help on Full MLB Equipment Edits

Hey guys, I’m just curious if there is anybody who would like to work together on getting equipment edits done after this most recent roster update?

I’m trying to get at least every teams Opening Day Roster set plus any high profile injured players and high level prospects. I use Getty Images (filtered for most recent) to get all the references needed for the equipment.

It takes quite a long time and I was unsure if anyone or many people would like to make light work of it all and get it done in a few days? Thanks for taking the time, feel free to respond in this thread or send me a direct message on here.

Re: Looking for Help on Full MLB Equipment Edits

I make sure I have the latest live roster loaded and then I edit everything on every 'MLB' player head to toe for all 30 teams before I even start my Franchise.

I especially can't stand the latest fad for all-white cleats home and away. It just doesn't look right. For every team who only has 1 primary color, every players' cleats and batting gloves that are set to 'white' gets edited to 'Team Color 3' so they're all at least white for home and gray for road games so it matches the pants.

And for any teams with a primary and secondary color, I just do what looks best. For instance, the Orioles, orange and/or black cleats look SO much better than just white/gray.

All this on top of making sure they are using all the other correct equipment. This all takes a LONG time but it's worth it to me in the end

Google images is my biggest help for equipment accuracy.

Would you at all be interested in doing edits with me? I’ve gotten the AL East pretty much done. I too don’t do all white unless the player uses that the majority of the time.

I also use Getty Images and name search the player, it’s easy but very time consuming.

Will these rosters be default ratings, only thing touched being equipment?

Yeah. Using latest live roster with no edits to attributes.

I normally edit the 40 man rosters for each team, but that has seemed like way more of a chore this year. Think I'll just do the MLB edits, and then edit others as they get called up.

You’re more than welcome to jump in and work on it with us if you’d like. AL East is done, AL Central and AL West are being worked on.

                            Many hands make light work!

I'd like to help, but how is this being done? One person uploads the roster, another does their part, uploads, then next person works on it?
