Probably Triple Play, but I don't remember exactly. I don't *think* it was High Heat.

Yea, it was high heat. But you couldn't see anything except the batter taking a step towards the mound and then a message saying he’s ejected.

We need the ability to place batters where in the batters box we want them. Crowding the plate, back deep in the box, wherever.

I *think* the 2K series either let you do this, or have the manager rip apart the ump...if he got tossed, the CPU would take over lineup decisions.

Was certainly a bit of added entertainment.

MVP had charge the mound and manager ejections. Ejections actually mattered because if you got your manager tossed you couldn’t warm up the bullpen, although I’m not sure if arguing calls in that game mattered so it was more an immersion thing

I loved HH05. I probably put more hours into that than any other sports game I ever played. Only baseball game in which I've played every single pitch of a full season.

It sounds familiar and I thought I remember it way back. But I know MLB made 2k take it out so I’d assume if it was there, they made SDS take it out too.

MLB SlugFest 20-03 obviously had it, where the player would catch fire and pummel the pitcher offscreen. MLB SlugFest 20-04 would sometimes have the pitcher get the upper hand in the fight and take the fire from him.

The All Star Baseball series also had the batter charge the mound, and once he would run up to the mound he would stand right in front of the pitcher before the text would pop up saying somebody was ejected (can't remember if it was batter or pitcher).
