Not sure I can agree with the first item called out, fielding. Although routes are no longer perfect, the delay some fielders (even elite ones) have on a batted balls occasionally are beyond frustrating. There are other ways to separate fielders that don't include a 1-2 second delay before a hitter breaks from his starting spot. There's a very long thread about this on these forums.

With that said, I do like the chances fielders will take to cut a ball off and hold the runner to a single. The elite defenders tend to do this successfully whereas the less than ideal ones will miss on more than one occasion.

I do agree in regards to throwing. The system is much improved, but there is still some work to be done that is more animation related vs the actual game mechanic. Nothing more frustrating than seeing an elite SS get locked into a weird animation that forces an awkward throw even after you manually had him "rounding" the ball so his body would be going towards first as the ball is fielded. Again, I think this is an animation engine problem.

The amount of walks you draw is directly on the end user. If you are patience, you will draw walks. Most people arent' patient tho.

My pet peeve is the Minors League. While it great they now have all real players in the minors, its the amount of players you have in your organization I want increased.

All the little things added up is what puts this series head and shoulders above othwr sports games when it comes to realism.
