I want it myself and not the cpu picking them! You can mix and match several jerseys and pants,etc. Now if they're talking custom made DD unis then thats a different story.

I can and do pick the uniforms for both teams every game. This is in franchise. What am I missing here ?

that is Not what I am talking about

in the past 10 years the CPU would actually choose what uni a team wears on each day itself. now it just chooses the Default one UNLESS we actually change it ourselves. so I have to look up a uniform scheduler to do this to do it manually rather then the CPU just doing it like it used to

Can't say enough about the nouncers this year. Love these guys and adding more dialog is fresh and amazing.

If they could just add a few names every Update..

Last names :
Drysdale, Koufax, Kluszewski, Boudreau,
Skowran, Musial, Luzinski, Lombardi, Fisk, Berra, Colavito, Greenberg...
The game play and announcers are so natural.
Amazing labor of love went into the creation of this gem.

Also I think it gets overlooked but the commentary, much like last year, continues to get better with each improvement via a patch

Haven’t a clue what purpose it serves tho. If they did decide this was needed when AUTO field was on, why not have it on then too? Another bug report sent.

I'm not understanding the whole blue circle thing and what setting would turn it off. It's almost like it's an auto throwing factor more than fielding, because once you throw the ball to the put-out fielder, the blue circle does not appear under the player catching the ball for the last possible out, it's always a player who has to choose where to throw the ball. If that makes sense...?

Ya that’s what I am starting to think. As I said I am worried it’s a feature not a bug to denote preloaded throws or something. I use auto fielding and manual throwing like I presume most who complain about the blue circle are doing. Last year they corrected in one patch, this year we’ve had 6 updates and the blue circle lives. So it can’t be a bug can it?

I am actually good with this as imho mlb has gone overboard with alternate uniforms, especially the city connect ones. Looking at the uniform schedules I’ve seen in other threads here the percentage of alternates is getting too high for my admittedly traditional and anal tastes.

At least the city connects aren’t as vile as the ridiculous ‘turn ahead the clock’ outfits from a while back.

I'm curious, in the past 10 years did the show follow the MLB schedule of when teams would wear certain uniforms in real life? Or was in randomized within the show.

It has always been randomized and does not match real life. You can go to the uniform screen then exit the mode and go back in and you will get different options in past iterations. I think the thing that people want is the randomness the game gives you for the uniforms. I personally like picking them myself, but can see why others would want it.

I don't think it is a bug but rather by design by SDS.

It was inconsistent. I think a lot of teams were random. I know with the Braves (since that's who I used in Franchise for 21 and 22), it'd default to Red in Fridays (which is correct). Iirc, in 21 it would default to the cream uniforms on weekends, which was outdated. The Braves did wear those on Saturdays and Sundays from 2012-17, but from 2018-21 (except 20, when they didn't wear it at all) they only wore it on Sundays. The road uniforms were random. And when it would default to the road alt, it would actually put them with the regular road pants and not the alternate pants (the alternate pants hadn't been used in years, and they finally fixed that this year).

So I think I figured out a way to still use the random selected jerseys. On main screen of franchise, when you tabover to play next game it shows different jersey types there. But when you go to play it it will always choose default home and away.

So if you want to just use what is show on main screen that's a way to still use randomly selected jerseys. Just have to manually choose that specific one.
