What settings have you decided to use on mlb the show 23?

I thought I would make a thread to see what the OS community decided to use.

I've decided to use hof for hitting and pitching. I use meter pitching and directional hitting.
My sliders are timing 6, Hum pitch control 4, Hum starter stamina 6, cpu timing 6, and cpu starter stamina 6.

I still have issues with some of my stats, but I'm sticking with these for the season.

Just was wondering if anybody would like to share there set-up.

Played (every pitch) the first half of the season on AS and had some (mild) issues with how easy it was. Played about 12 games on HOF after the break and, while it wasn’t too hard (went 5-7 in those games) I just didn’t like how it felt. Now I’m on AS+ and I really love how it feels *and* I just got swept by the Padres. Very excited to play out the rest of the season on AS+.

Classic pitching, manual base running, fielding & throwing but auto dives and slides.

Well over 500 hours with the game already, I love it to death.
    Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.

I play on default legend for both hitting and pitching. The only slider I adjust is on game injuries which I put at 8.

I use zone hitting and meter pitching.

Currently in May of my second season having played every pitch of every game from Spring Training to when the season ends.

Very happy with my on field experience and stats. On the field this season is the best the game has played for me.

Directional hitting with no influence unless I'm facing a pitcher with low velocity. I have to use dynamic for hitting difficulty so far for this year. There's way too much RNG on a preset difficulty setting, IMO.

This is pretty close to my setup. I also have injuries at 8, and I change up my pitching interface randomly.

Is that for both in game and simulation injuries?

Country boy, I play spring as well. Curious if you follow the cpu logic or use your own. For instance, the cpu will use the first two-times through rotation, SP for 3 innings and go between the #1 and #3 starter pitcher for the 4th inning and etc.
Let me know if you know what I'm referring to or of I need to clarify better.

I do my own thing. I hate how the CPU uses it’s roster in Spring Training because some guys (especially pitchers) never see the field.

But I don’t really have a set in stone plan for using my roster, primarily due to the fact that you have to have pitcher’s work slightly longer in games or appear more often than preferred because of limited roster availability.

An area I keep hoping one year will be addressed

I use to try and follow with the cpu, but it makes no sense and decided I'd go my own route. Same as you, no particular route I take.
I geberally try and run my starters 3 innings 2x through the rotation, then 4 innings 2x and last rotation like a regular season game. Last game of Spring I play everyone I want to look at one last time to decide any battles if any. No starters play. The cpu doesn't use any pitcher in the RP slot. I put my worse guys there and will only use them when the game is way out of hand. For bench guys I do swap guys out from the 7th inning on like the cpu does.
W-L record means nothing to me in Spring.

I play Spring and do my thing. Pitchers first start 3 innings, second start 4 innings and so on. Relievers, if SP or long relievers I pitch two innings. Regular relievers with low stamina 1 inning. I rotate through so all get about same IP by end of Spring Training. Hitters I also rotate through so they get about same number of ABs. I don’t sub in the seventh or anything though. Hitters play all nine innings for me.

I love playing Spring Training checking out some of my new or younger players and for any position battles I create for myself. Also love the no pressure to win just play. I let C call my games in Spring, regular season I call the games.

Clean screen for the most part, I just keep the scoreboard, I also use auto fielding & throwing, default sliders, classic pitching, timing hitting on HOF hitting & Legend pitching, I let player stats be main factor.

I've always pitched way better then I hit, (even through little league & high school) one thing I've always hated & just don't do anymore, haven't in a couple years is mess with sliders, you can go mad with that as I've had in the past, so I just role with default & It's working out just fine.

Clean screen user as well. Scorebug & strike zone outline only, just like a broadcast.

Directional hitting on retro camera. No guess pitch.
                            Classic pitching on broadcast.
Manual fielding & button throwing on broadcast.
All star difficulty both sides of the plate.
Simulation game style on default sliders.
