Re: HOME RUNS evolution in BASEBALL video games since 1976
Love watching video game evolutions. Great trip down memory lane. My go-to baseball game growing up was Roger Clemens Baseball for NES. No MLB rights so I had to settle for playing as the Detroit Wheels, a team led by T. Phipps, A. Melltram, and C. Fieldman.
Edit: Watching a couple minutes of this Home Run Evolution video then looking back to my TV to play the Show really gives me renewed appreciation for how amazing games are today.Last edited by VDusen04; 07-29-2023, 10:16 PM.Comment

And then Jeter would voice over tours of the fantasy future stadiums, most of which are hilarious to look at now as the teams IRL built stadiums nothing like the devs’ imagination.Comment

MLB Pennant Race (1997) - I was so excited for that game to come out....think about back then, the internet was just getting started and there wasn't a ton of gaming info out there.
The only info you had for upcoming games was they would have the "prop" box for coming soon games and the 4 postage stamp size pictures on the back of the box looked so cool.....and you have to look in game magazines for a preview.
Seeing that game brings back memories to my late teens

I must have slipped into a coma for many years. I can remember playing Nintendo baseball then the next thing I remember was playing high heat baseball and nothing in between. 😂I am the way
I am the light
I am the dark inside the night.
I hear your hopes
I feel your dreams
And in the dark I hear your screams
Don't turn away, Just take my hand
I'll never leave, All I ask of you, Is Believe.
Believe

I feel like High Heat was the first game to really take realism to the next levelComment
