The IF play has been poor all year with this game, though. So many times, they dive early, and the ball bounces off the forearm or glove. They sometimes dive when they can easily just move their feet and field the ball cleanly. Instead, it's a ball bouncing off their forearm for an IF single.

This isn't patch related, however. This has been this way since release. You're probably just now noticing it happen and now paying attention/looking for it to happen so it's worse than it actually is.

OF is same way with diving and ball bouncing off player or mitt. This again has been this way since the beginning of the year. Turn OF errors down if you need to. I did this down to 0 and generally enjoy OF play much more. They play cleaner and looks a ton better. They still miss dive and the ball bounces off them, but near as much. The IF play it just is what it is.

The one thing in fielding I have seen more than I'd like is an OF diving back toward the wall on a ball over his head when he could play it better off the wall, but deflecting off a fielder or his glove? Can't say I've seen those all that much.

I would say every 4 or 5 games the IF diving early and ball bouncing off forearms and gloves. Really just depends if I induce groundballs or not. And I have to have a game where I'm not getting 10+ strikeouts, which is somewhat normal this year unfortunately. And they have to be sorta hit hard to get the IF to dive too early. It's not like every other play or anything. Probably 2-3 times a game when I do see it. Some games seem like it happens more. Then games where I never see it happen. I don't look at it as an issue though. I need the cpu to get as many hits as possible with pitching being overall too easy so I gladly give them some infield singles.

Right. The second one is the big one that occurs quite often in the game. Just weird timing on their dives. I've seen OF dive too soon too and actually catch the ball. Their glove is laying on the ground as they're stretched out, waiting for the ball to hit the glove. Just looks weird when it happens lol

The bushes are pretty bad. But they aren't the only issue. I understand that they were having to adjust Comerica fairly blind before release, but they really should fix it. The seats in Right Center are way too low, the bushes shouldn't go past the bend, even if they're smaller, the bend goes out at a sharper angle, it looks like to me, the wall in Right near the foul pole should be orange, as should the walls behind the bullpens.

Nah, I think they had to put that out. They changed the dimensions there, and ultimately that's more important than some of the visuals being off. It would have been more off if they left it as is (and would have likely also delayed the Rogers Centre changes).

The bushes are comically large, but in SDS's defense, from the preseason descriptions, it did seem like the plants there would be a little more substantial.

This patch did not fix the issue with baserunners disappearing and suddenly becoming outs when going back to live play using quick manage in Franchise mode.

It just happened to me again. This time in a tie game.

I doubt they see that as something that they need to fix since they spent half a premier talking about how they made it easier to strikeout hitters and less foul balls. Unless they say they overdid it.

/Sigh . . . foul balls are unrealistically too low this year (they were last year, too), and players too easy to strike out. Last year was too easy, too (though slightly better).
