Anyone notice that since the patch the commentary keeps saying “a careless job of getting the ball in by the outfielder” on a totally normal throw? It happened once and I figured I just missed something, then it happened later in the game. Now I’m playing another game and just heard it again. It seems to happen if I get a hit with runners on

Yes. It is damn annoying too. Boog uses it all the time now for almost every throw in from the outfield when a runner on base advances, when there is obviously nothing wrong with the throw, and the runner was going advance anyway. 🤯

New commentary from most recent patch consists of the play by play guy saying “terrible play by the outfielder getting the ball back in and a run scores” over and over on plays played perfectly by the outfielder. What a joke

Swear hitting is harder since patch 7… don’t remember missing too many “good” swings and now seems like the norm. Also bat sounds are a bit different and can almost tell what a hit and out are by the sound of them, something I didn’t notice until recently

What I don’t get is that while this worked well before, it hasn’t worked that great for the last 2 years at least. They didn’t seem to update the uniform schedules with newly added uniforms so it was a lot of random jersey changes.

When they added the Mets black jersey, they would only select it for road games rather than the Friday home games. I would end up having to change most of other teams’ jerseys due to this anyway. So if anyone wanted to use this for “uniform accuracy”, it was wrong 50% of the time the CPU chose it.

For this reason the feature removal does not bother me at all. I’m a perfectionist about uniforms so I always check both teams anyway…in every sports game. Sometimes you’ll see in Madden the Bills have blue shirts with red pants or in NBA/FIFA a white vs light grey matchup. So I just fix it myself before playing.

Doesn't bother me either. To each their own. I always picked both teams uniforms game to game anyway based on what I felt like seeing for that game.

Wind direction and speed has disappeared from the pause menu

GAMELOG shows wind blowing in from left at 2.5mph but no wind direction on pause menu

???

I THINK the design is that the indicator doesn't show up when it's a wind of less than 3 mph. You can probably test it by bumping the wind slider up a bit, especially if that 2.5 is on default. It'll get added to pretty easily with a few slider clicks and should show the indicator once it goes over 3 mph.
