Clean Screen
Its been a few years since Ive played a franchise. I thought it was in here somewhere but I spent a few hours trying to find it with no luck. With clean screen, where do I find what my pitchers energy is? If I pause it shows me my guys warming but not my current pitchers energy left.Really wish sports games played to ratings!
Only thing SIM about sports games now, are the team name and players

MLB 23 FOREVER 20 is better, 23 just for Guardians
Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.Tags: None -

I believe you press R2 to bring up pitcher energy, confidence, and pitch repertoire

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Clean Screen
If you’re playing clean screen you can’t press R2 to bring that stuff up. Press up on the D-Pad go to substitutions, right above the top guy on your bench will be a meter with your pitchers energy. You can do the same thing while you’re batting to check the CPU pitcher energy as well.Comment

Re: Clean Screen
Thanks Knight. I dont like using mound visits unless I really need to.
Im pretty good at knowing what my pitchers pitch counts can get to, just looking for a back up.Really wish sports games played to ratings!

Re: Clean Screen
Well I would say you don’t “really need” to know where your pitcher’s energy is, unless you REALLY need to, at which point a mound visit would be appropriate, no? Thus satisfying the prerequisite you’ve set? You really need a mound visit because you really need to see your pitcher’s energy. Makes perfect sense to me. Way better than going in and out of the menus and adjusting visual settings every game. Also way more sim. Real players don’t have energy bars, gotta go ask him how he’s feeling.Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.Comment

Re: Clean Screen
Mound visits can also have a negative effect. I do use mound visits. I use them when I need to use them.Really wish sports games played to ratings!
